Alongside the reveal today of Atomic Heart 2, Mundfish also announced THE CUBE. A Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game set in the exact same universe as Atomic Heart. The game is entirely set on an enigmatic Cube that has suddenly appeared out of nowhere, or perhaps it’s always been there, however unseen as implied by the Scientist studying the Cube in the cinematic trailer. In any case it’ll be up to fans to uncover what mysteries lie within this floating behemoth.
According to the games Steam page: “The CUBE is a multiplayer RPG-shooter that blends unique world-building, an intriguing narrative, and exciting quests into one game. A living world full of memorable characters, diverse biomes, and tons of enemies, including powerful bosses, awaits you.”
As seen in the trailer players will battle across the cube in its ever rotating expanse, fighting enemies in its interesting and unique shifting environments with an assortment of weaponry.
As said, Mundfish has also revealed Atomic Heart II which seems like it’ll be a massive step up from the first game offering new ways to play in a “living world”, with an emphasis on Action-Adventure Role Playing. Currently there is no set release date for either games but nonetheless Mundfish’s showcase today has been very impressive and we can’t wait to see what all they have in store.
