All Operators Coming to Modern Warfare 4 | Customization Features Return & More!

The next MAJOR entry in the Modern Warfare franchise will be arriving later this year with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, later on in 2026. Players are itching to know what’s coming in the new Modern Warfare game, & that includes its operators. Icons like Captain Price & Ghost are a given, but what about the other names battling alongside & against them? There are plenty of characters within this new installment of Modern Warfare to choose from. Today, we’re going to go over all operators that will be playable within Call of Duty’s latest entry, MW4. Here’s what you need to know:

Set Operator Feature Returning in Modern Warfare 4

For those who remember the Vanguard system, the operator you select at the menu will be the operators you play as within games, regardless of what team you’re on. Modern Warfare 4 however has taken it a step further, as operators can now be tied to specific loadouts.

For example, if you build a nasty M4 Loadout, you can tie it to Ghost, while perhaps a stealthy sniper loadout can be tied to Price. Once you select that loadout, you’ll equip & play as that operator. This operator/loadout tie system is similar to what was active in DMZ. Players built a loadout & class around a specific operator.

  • Ghost
  • Blix
  • Private Park
  • Barrage
  • Velikan

As stated before, there are also plenty of Operators we don’t have names for at this time, likely all tied to the campaign, but will be shown below:

Unique Operator Customization Feature Returns in Modern Warfare 4

Based on a recent blog post for MW4, it was confirmed that both the vault edition skins for Price & Valeria can be either masked or unmasked through the emote system. This was a system seen in a few bundles of BO7, but also seen back in Vanguard’s customization options. Players could unlock operators, purchase skins, & interchange certain aspects of the skins via completing challenges.

With this returning, it could add a new level of customization (all within theme or style) to Operators within Modern Warfare 4 within the emote system.
