Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has had an exciting timeline of content drops, & it doesn’t stop with Season 5 Reloaded! Dropping later in August, players will get their hands on the rest of Season 5’s content, including new weapons, multiplayer maps & the return of Freerun! There are also brand new events & the MAJOR finale to the end of the BO7 Zombies story – Rex Infernus. Today, we’re going to go over all the content coming in Season 5 Reloaded, as well as the release date here for Black Ops 7! Here’s what you need to know:
Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 5 Release Date
Based on the in-game weekly challenges, the release date can be solved by figuring out when the second half of the weekly challenges begin. Week 5 of the weekly challenges are set to launch on Thursday, August 20th. Another way to determine when Season 5 Reloaded is after earning your first weekly camo reward.

Weapons
Mace – Melee
While the Mace does have a slow attack speed, it balances out with a long attack range, as well as a high damage rate. It comes with three new universal prestige camos including:
- Deepwater – Prestige 1
- Jazzy – Prestige 2
- Metachrosis – Prestige 2 Max Level 250
Weekly Challenge Rewards
Within the span of Season 5 Reloaded, you’ll be able to unlock various new Weapon Attachments & Kits through the Weekly Challenges. These can be applied to your weapons in BO7 & Warzone. These are the different attachments/kits you can earn:
- M15 Mod 0 AMR .50 Cal Kit
- RK-9 Calibrated Strike System
- Peacekeeper MK1 Gauss Accelerator
You’ll also be able to earn the Thorny Connection Weapon Blueprint for the VST SMG. On top of that, by completing all of the weekly challenges, you can earn the Nectar Animated Weapon Camo.
Events
There will be a Leaderboard event coinciding with the launch of Freerun Descent. This will operate similar to the Freerun Ascent Leaderboard event back on the launch of Freerun in BO7.
Black Ops 7 Season 5 Reloaded Multiplayer Content
Maps
Turbo Tilt
In a map similar to Micro in BO3, operators shrink down & battle within the new map Turbo Tilt! Set inside of the ‘Nuketown Turbo Era Rampage’ machine, players will battle it out within the inner workings of the game machine. Bumpers & flippers provide ample cover, while the upstairs of the green house provides the high ground advantage.
Modes
Freerun Descent
You’ve made your way up the Ascent Course, now you must make your way down on a brand-new Descent Course. Test your combat & movement abilities within this new Freerun Obstacle Course Experience.
Cranked Moshpit
Cranked Moshpit debuts within Black Ops 7 here in Season 5 Reloaded. Eliminating enemies will activate your Cranked timer. Continuing to get eliminations will keep it going. If the timer hits zero, you’re done. Stacking eliminations will earn you buffs like faster movement, faster reload, & more.
Black Ops 7 Season 5 Reloaded Zombies Content
Rex Infernus
The finale to the Black Ops 7 Zombies story has arrived in Black Ops 7 Season 5 Reloaded! Zombies fans venture into the Warden’s turf to finish the fight once & for all. Based on teasers from Treyarch, there will be a new Spider enemy similar to Zetsubou. A major difference is that this will be an Elite enemy.
Another teaser has shown the head of Dravakar, as well as the body of Veytharion seen from what appears to be Samantha’s room. On top of a new wonder weapon, fans will also be reintroduced to the Widows Wine perk, a brand new Gobblegum (Fully Packed), & 2 new Ultra Rarity Weapons (TR2 & Olympia)!
Warzone Season 5 Reloaded Comtent
New Gameplay Features
Quickdrop Kit
You can earn these new kits through completion of a Most Wanted Contract. These can slash the redeployment time for your squad & can be stacked for maximum effect. This ensures minimal time between redeployments, & will only be available in Resurgence.
Special Delivery Drone
These new Delivery Drones are not ones to appear very often. If you manage to take one of these rare drones down, you can claim the case & try to finish the game with it to unlock new weapon camos!
