With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 coming in November 14th, players will have plenty of goals to grind towards. One of these goals is to reach Master Prestige & Level 1,000. Black Ops 7 is set to bring this system back, along with a new weapon prestige system for players to grind & work towards. In this article, we’re going to go over the prestige system in BO7, including prestige rewards, weapon leveling & prestige, shared progression, & more. Here’s what you need to know:
Prestige System Returns in Black Ops 7
When Black Ops 7 launches, you will be able to begin grinding towards any & all levels of Prestige, day one. For players who enjoy grinding on Call of Duty, you’ll have access to all 10 Prestiges. You’ll have even more to grind towards even after reaching Prestige 10, as the famed Level 1,000 returns in BO7 as well.
This will give players plenty of opportunities to utilize XP Tokens either earned in BO7 or carried over from BO6. We can expect to see crazier rewards for Prestiging & reaching Level 1,000 in Black Ops 7.
As per usual, Warzone won’t integrate with your level progression until Season 1 of BO7. Once Warzone integrates with Black Ops 7, you’ll lose your level progression from BO6. Meaning if you’re level 1,000 in BO6/Warzone, you’ll be reset to your current rank in BO7 for Warzone after integration.
Shared Progression Across All Modes in Black Ops 7 & Warzone
You won’t have to worry about leveling up & progressing in each individual game mode. Shared progression does return in BO7 & Warzone. This means that your level through the game will carry across in Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, & Warzone. This will ensure you’re able to unlock level gated items in other modes alot easier.
Perhaps you’re a zombies player who would like to try Multiplayer, but can’t reach a high enough level while playing the mode to try out a certain weapon. You’ll be able to grind in Zombies & reach the desired level easier to unlock that weapon you’ve been eyeing to use in Multiplayer, or vice versa.
The same applies for weapon levels. Whatever your weapons’ level is in Multiplayer, you’ll carry it over to Zombies, Warzone, etc. While we’re on the topic of weapon levels, it transitions perfectly into our next topic.
Weapon Levels & Prestige in Black Ops 7 & Warzone

Every weapon in Black Ops 7 will have 50 levels to work towards. This is standard at this point for Call of Duty. However, players will be able to prestige their weapons & grind back up to level 50. Prestiging the weapon will re-lock all attachments (except optics). The prestige comes with extra benefits as you will earn a new camo for prestiging your weapon! From what we know, weapon prestige camos are a solid color.
After entering the first prestige for your weapon, you’ll unlock an exclusive Prestige attachment. You can then level your weapon back up to Max rank. Leveling your weapon back up will also grant players the ability to prestige the weapon a second time. When you prestige a weapon for a second time, you’ll earn another weapon camo, as well as a weapon exclusive charm & XP Bonuses.
After fully completing two weapon prestiges, you’ll be granted the rank of weapon prestige master. With this, you’ll have an additional 250 weapon levels to grind through. Once you reach the max rank Prestige 2 – Level 250, you’ll unlock a third camo for your hard work & efforts.
