All Escalation Directive Rewards and Challenges in Black Ops 7 Season 2

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 starts off Season 2 with a brand new event called ‘Escalation Directive’. This will be a big event for camo fans as the event is focused around camo rewards. A multitude of camos, both static & animated will be available to be earned through this event, across all modes once Season 2 of BO7 launches on February 5th. Today, we’re going over the ‘Escalation Directive’ event, how it works, as well as all the rewards you can earn from the event here in Black Ops 7 Season 2. Here’s what you need to know:

The ‘Escalation Directive’ Event in Black Ops 7 Season 2

The ‘Escalation Directive’ event is a standout among the many events we’ve seen so far. This is due to the event being camo focused, with a plethora of camos being rewards as you progress through the event, as well as a new weapon! You’ll need to complete individual Weapon Class Camos Challenges to earn these new camo rewards for those specific weapon classes.

For example, if you earn a camo reward for the SMG class in Zombies, you’ll still need to earn it for the other 8 weapon classes in the other modes. So for players who enjoy every mode, you’ll be able to work on the event in all four of the modes. Once you’ve completed all 9 Weapon Class Camo Challenges within a given mode, & earned the four camos for every weapon class, you’ll be rewarded with an Animated Mastery Camo for that specific mode. This means there are 4 mastery camos to earn in this event.

All ‘Escalation Directive’ Rewards in Black Ops 7 Season 2

Within this event, there are 8 unique camos you can unlock through progression of the weapon classes, & mastery rewards. Four of the camos are static, & the other four are animated. Here is each camo you can earn in this event, each mode it’s connected to, the challenges you’ll need to complete, & their respective weapon class:

Challenges & Camo Rewards

Synthesis (Static Camo) – Campaign/Endgame
- Assault Rifles
  - Use Assault Rifles to Eliminate 50 Special or Elite Enemies
- SMGs
  - Get 3 Kills rapidly 30 times with SMGs
- Shotguns
  - Get 150 Eliminations with Shotguns while at Combat Rating 30 or higher
- LMGs
  - Use LMGs to Eliminate 300 Human or Guild Bot enemies
- Marksman Rifles
  - Get 150 Eliminations with Marksman Rifles at Rare Rarity or higher
- Sniper Rifles
  - In Endgame: use Sniper Rifles to Eliminate 100 enemies in Zone III or higher
- Pistols
  - Use Pistols to Kill 25 Enemies affected by your Equipment or Ability
- Launchers / Specials
  - Get a Kill or destroy Guild Equipment or VTOLs 50 times with Launchers or Special Weapons
- Melee
  - Get a Kill with a Melee Weapon while or shortly after sliding, diving, or wall-jumping 50 times

- Complete Co-op & Endgame challenges for all Weapon Classes
Decay Heat (Static Camo) – Multiplayer
- Assault Rifles
  - Get 150 Kills while Aiming Down Sights with Assault Rifles
- SMGs
  - Earn 20 Double Kill Medals or better (2 rapid kills) with SMGs
- Shotguns
  - Get 25 Point Blank Kills with Shotguns
- LMGs
  - Get 3 Kills with LMGs with it reloading 10 times
- Marksman Rifes
  - With a 4.0x or higher magnification scope equipped: get 50 Eliminations with Marksman Rifles
- Sniper Rifles
  - Get 25 One Shot Kills with Sniper Rifles

  - Get 25 Eliminations with Pistols

  - Get 25 Kills or Scorestreak Destructions with Launchers or Special Weapons

Radioactive (Animated Camo)
- Complete Multiplayer challenges for all Weapon Classes
Prismatic (Static Camo) – Zombies
- Assault Rifles
  - Earn 25 Massacre Medals (10 Rapid Kills) with Assault Rifles
- SMGs
  - Get 1,000 Eliminations with SMGs at Rare Rarity or Higher
- Shotguns
  - Get 500 Eliminations with Shotguns while they are Pack-a-Punched
- LMGs
  - Use LMGs to Kill 150 enemies while the Insta-Kill Power-Up is active
- Marksman Rifes
  - Get 100 Kills with Marksman Rifles while a T.E.D.D. Task is active
- Sniper Rifles
  - Get 300 Critical Kills with Sniper Rifles
- Pistols
  - Get 10 consecutive Kills without taking damage 10 times with Pistols
- Launchers / Specials
  - Use Launchers or Special Weapons to Eliminate 100 Armored Zombies
- Melee
  - With Tier 2 or Higher Armor equipped: get 300 Eliminations with Melee Weapons
Rive (Animated Camo)
- Complete Zombies challenges for all Weapon Classes
Phased (Static) – Warzone
- Assault Rifles
  - Get 30 Eliminations with Loadout Assault Rifles
- SMGs
  - Get 10 Kills while moving with SMGs
- Shotguns
  - Get 5 Kills while Aiming Down Sights with Shotguns
- LMGs
  - Get 2 Kills with LMGs in a single match 3 times
- Marksman Rifes
  - Get 3 Kills with Marksman Rifles in a single life
- Sniper Rifles
  - Get 5 Long Shot Kills with Sniper Rifles
- Pistols
  - Get 3 Eliminations with Pistols
- Launchers / Specials
  - Get 3 Kills or Vehicle Destructions with Launchers or Special Weapons

Ionize (Animated Camo)
- Complete Warzone challenges for all Weapon Classes

Event Mastery Reward – SG-12

For those who fully complete the event by earning all camos available, you’ll unlock the SG-12 Shotgun. This shotgun will be a familiar favorite for players who enjoyed BO4, even sporting familiar Black Ops 4 camos for weapon prestige rewards.

Ultra Secret Mastery Reward – Incandescence ANIMATED Camo

Complete all 4 Modes of Weapon Challenges and Unlock all 4 ANIMATED Camos in the Escalation Directive Event to Unlock the SECRET ‘Incandescence’ ANIMATED Camo. This Camo is hidden in the event menu, and also unlocks with 25k bonus XP for completing it!
