Black Ops 7 has just been officially revealed at Gamescom and with that the BO7 Beta is just around the corner & will be releasing this upcoming Summer, following the COD NEXT reveal event that’s rumored to be taking place in the end of September at Las Vegas. Today we will be discussing how & when players will be allowed to access the Black Ops 7 Beta +more! Here is what you need to know:
BLACK OPS 7 BETA DOWNLOAD
Just as we saw for previous titles like, MW2, MW3, & Black Ops 6, players will be able to pre-load the Multiplayer Beta for all platforms most likely the same week as the COD NEXT Reveal Event. The update should be appearing on all platforms (Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, Battle.net, & Steam).
The download for the upcoming Beta shouldn’t be larger than 30GB’s as the standard file size for recent Betas have been around the 25 GB mark.
HOW TO PLAY BLACK OPS 7 BETA
Just like with previous Call of Duty entries, Players will get automatic access to the Multiplayer Beta by pre-ordering any Edition of Black Ops 7 (Standard, Cross-Gen, & Vault Editions)
XBOX GAMEPASS BETA SUPPORT
With the Microsoft & Activision acquisition, Microsoft has now put Call of Duty on Game Pass allowing users to purchase Game Pass Ultimate to get access to the new COD releases & with that also allows players to play upcoming Multiplayer Betas for COD going forward.
Players will also get access to Reznov pre ordered operator skins for use inside Black Ops 6 if they’ve subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate.

The Xbox Store has just officially revealed the upcoming Early Access & Open Beta periods for Black Ops 7 Multiplayer:
- Early Access | October 2nd
- Open Beta | October 5th
