Preloads for ‘COD 2.0’ are exclusive to Playstation but have been roughly the same size on all platforms.
Season 4 Preload Size (Approx)
According to Playstation Game Size, the season 4 patch will be of similar size to previous seasons of Modern Warfare 2. Although Playstation Game Size is restricted from viewing the exact size of the patch, he was able to report on the size of each individual pack and the entire game AFTER update 01.020.000 is installed.

- Multiplayer Pack – 4.817 GB
- Co-op Pack – 7.528 GB
- Warzone 2 – 10.742 GB
Typically, seasonal updates range from 9-14GB total. Expect Season 4 to be in that range for all platforms.
Early Access
Preloads for post launch seasons in Modern Warfare 2019 – Vanguard often gave players access to new content early via private matches, several days before the official launch of the season. Players would come to expect early previews of the new weapons, modes and skins at the menu upon installing the preload. Beginning with Season 2 however, Modern Warfare 2 solved this “issue” by delaying the preload install until the exact start of the season itself. It remains to be seen when Season 4’s preload will become available for download, install, and whether or not any content will be playable before the launch window on June 14th.
