Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is on track to release worldwide on November 14th, 2025. With the vast amount of content available for players on day one, there’s more to look forward to with Season 1. In the first season of Black Ops 7, players will be excited to learn Weekly Challenges return with all new tasks to complete, & rewards to be had. In today’s article, we’re going to discuss how the Weekly Challenges will likely work, as well as potential rewards in BO7 & Warzone. Here’s what you need to know:
How Weekly Challenges Work in Black Ops 7 & Warzone
The Weekly Challenges return in Black Ops 7 & Warzone! Last seen in MW3 (2023), this system of challenges provided Call of Duty players a way to earn awesome rewards. How the system used to work in MW3 (2023), was that you could earn rewards by completing a few challenges across any of the modes available.
Each Season in MW3 would bring a new set of challenges. These would come every week of the Season, usually rounding out at 8 weeks worth of challenges. Each week would provide seven individual challenges for each mode (Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone). In total, that would give players 21 challenges a week that they could complete. However, players would only need to complete 5 challenges out of all 21 to earn the weekly reward.
If players earned all the weekly rewards across all & weeks, you’d earn the Season Weekly Mastery reward. This Mastery reward would usually be an animated camo. The camos were sought after by the community, & have been sorely missed in Black Ops 6. We’re likely to see Weekly Challenges begin in Season 1 of Black Ops 7 & Warzone.
Weekly Challenge Rewards in Black Ops 7 & Warzone
Back in MW3 (2023), players would be able to earn Aftermarket Parts, weapon blueprints, & as stated before, animated camos by completing Weekly Challenges. As for what we know now, we will receive 2 camos rewards per season! As for other weekly rewards we could see in Black Ops 7, here are some of the possibilities:

- Weapons
- Operator Skins
- Scorestreaks
- Attachments
