The NEW 6 Week Long Warzone Event Explained

A new Warzone event is letting the best players compete for $100,000 while representing Vondel’s fantasy paintball teams, the Lions and the Drakes! The Vondel Battles have begun as of July 25th.

How Do The Vondel Battles Work?

Erena has partnered with Activision to host Vondel’s very first tournament, which will consist of five separate events over the course of six weeks. The Vondel Battles schedule is as follows:

July 25th – Event One
August 1st – Event Two
August 10th – Event Three
August 17th – Event Four
August 24th – Event Five

During each event, there will be six private match games of Vondel Resurgence trios with all participating teams. The scoring system is based on total eliminations and multipliers. The cumulative totals through six games will determine total scores for that week. The total prize pool for the event is $100,000, with a $20,000 prize pool slotted for each individual event. Each week, the winning teams will earn the following amounts:

$10,000 – 1st Place
$5,000 – 2nd Place
$2,500 – 3rd Place
$1,000 – 4th Place
$500 – 5th Place
$5,000 – Bonus For 1st Place At The End Of The Event

The winning teams will then split their earnings evenly amongst the trio. There will then be one final seventh game consisting of only the top two games for a bonus $5,000 price.

Who is Participating?

Twenty total participants will be taking part in the Vondel Battles, in which ten players will be on team Lions, while the other ten will represent team Drakes. The Lions and the Drakes are the two fantasy paintball teams that you can find around the Vondel’s stadium.
