Even though Season 2 Reloaded only just released and introduced new content like the Paradox Junction Zombies map and the all-new Black Ops Royale Warzone game mode, some players are already discussing and waiting for Season 3. How long is left until Black Ops 7 Season 3 is supposed to start? Although no official statement or marketing will be given until we’re closer to the BO7 Season 3 release, we can still have a good idea of when it starts based on the current Battle Pass:
Season 3 Release Date in Black Ops 7 & Warzone
As of March 17th, Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 3 will begin on April 2nd at 9am PT on all platforms. Every Battle Pass since the system was introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 had its duration listed in days left, the current Battle Pass in Black Ops 7 still showcasing players its length. Season 2 feels somewhat shorter compared to previous titles, mainly due to the majority of its content being released in the Reloaded update, although in a little over two weeks even more is to come!
Black Ops 7 Season 3 Content Sneak Peek
Content wise, we still don’t know much about what Season 3 will bring. However, as Treyarch mentioned that all future Zombies map release on the Reloaded updates and that we have a total of 3 maps left.
For Season 3, 4 & 5 specifically they’ve mentioned in a Creator Call that all new Zombies maps will feature new enemies, locations and Wonder Weapons.
In the same Creator Call they also answered some questions, including Carry Forward being implemented for specific weapons in Zombies in a ”different way”, meaning you probably will not be able to spawn in with the MP-40 for example, and the standard introductions with every new Season such as new weapons, scorestreaks and maps are also expected to keep players engaged at its launch.
The expected release date based on the aforementioned Battle Pass timer should give a launch window of April 2nd, the marketing cycle starting around the 26th of March based on previous titles
