How To Solve All Analyzer Blood Specimens In Resident Evil: Requiem

Resident Evil and complex puzzles go hand in hand, and the Analyzer Blood Specimen puzzles are no different.
Some even say they are the hardest puzzles in the game, but do not worry as we have the solutions for you to make it super easy!
Spoilers ahead as we’ve got the solutions to all of them!
And yes, they are worth doing as they unlock new craftable items and gear.

You can find a total of 2 Analyzing machines in the building, but it is recommended to just use the one in the Blood Lab, as that is the one closest to the majority of the Specimen loot spots.

denatured blood specimen

The Denatured Blood Specimen is the first and easiest to find of all 4, as you stumble across it during your exploration of the East Wing section.
To be specific it can be found right next to the Analyzer machine in the Blood Lab, making it impossible to miss and thankfully it is also the easiest to solve.
Pick it up and use the machine to Analyze it to enter the puzzle.
The solution for this Specimen is just one step, simply press the second Atom from the left (marked with 1) to solve it and you unlock Recipes to craft Handgun Ammo & the Hemolytic Injector.

converged blood specimen

The Converged Blood Specimen is also in the East Wing, but requires you to have acquired the LVL 1 ID Wristband to access the Closet, which is a side room of the Waiting Room.
In that area you will encounter the Cleaner zombie and a noise-sensitive patient zombie, which can be a pain to deal with.
You will need to either avoid them altogether or take them down, making it even easier if you make noise by the cleaner so the noise-sensitive patient gets triggered and attacks the Cleaner zombie for you, leaving just the patient to deal with.
Once inside the Closet room grab all the loot inside, including the Converged Blood Specimen, and head back to the Blood Lab.

Once back at the Lab, put the Specimen in the Analyzer and click the Atoms in order shown on the image below.
Completing this puzzle rewards you with Recipes for Med Injectors & 12.7×55 Gun Ammo.

reversible blood specimen

The Reversible Blood Specimen requires the LVL 1 ID Wristband, so keep playing until you end up on the second floor of the building, it is impossible to miss!
Once acquired, head back on over to the Blood Lab but be aware that new Zombies will have spawned in the East Wing and that Chunk will be roaming.

When you’re back at the Lab it’s time to unlock the Storage Room with that LVL 1 ID Wristband.
Inside there you will find the Reversible Blood Specimen, metal scraps, a green herb and an empty injector.
Pick them all up and head over to the Analyzer machine and solve the puzzle using the solution provided in the image below.
Doing so successfully unlocks the ability to craft Steroids (Health) and Stabilizers (Damage) Upgrades.

polymerized blood specimen

This specific Specimen is exclusive to the Insanity Difficulty, which requires you to beat the game first before it is unlocked.

To find the Polymerized Blood Specimen you need to play the game on Insanity and need to play up to the point of finding the first Specimen and the Blood Lab.
The Polymerized Specimen is located in the Closet/Storage Room behind the Waiting Room.
The solution to the Polymerized puzzle is: Middle Left, then the Middle Right, and finally the Middle Bottom.

The Polymerized Specimen replaces the Converged Specimen on that playthrough on Insane Difficulty, but it does unlock additional Recipes, which are necessary for managing tougher enemies.
