Black Ops 7 Season 1 CODMAS Event, Gameplay, and Content

CODMAS is coming to town! Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 will have CODMAS & all of the festivities that’s come along with it. From LTMs, to holiday decor, & events, CODMAS will have all avenues covered this year for players to engage with & enjoy in Black Ops 7 Season 1. There will be plenty of rewards for everyone to earn this holiday season, through various modes & various means. Today, we’re going to go over CODMAS, all the content coming, as well as rewards you can earn from the festivities here in BO7 Season 1. Here’s what you need to know:

All Content Coming in CODMAS to Black Ops 7

We’re going to go over every bit of content coming with CODMAS in Season 1 of Black Ops 7. CODMAS is set to begin on December 16th, as it’s tied to an upcoming challenge event. Every mode has content coming along for the ride, so let’s get into it:

Events

The Naughty & Nice event will be coming this holiday season, alongside much other CODMAS content. Players can collect gifts to unwrap by completing ‘Nice’ challenges, or by collecting bags of coal through ‘Naughty’ challenges. Rewards include:

The brand-new ‘Snowfall’ animated camo

Festive weapon blueprints for the Peacekeeper & possibly the Novaline

The Sokol 545 LMG

& Many More Surprises!

Endgame

The Endgame will be treated to CODMAS festivities. Frozen projectiles are scattered for players to find, as well as gifts hidden in festive themed Supply boxes.

Multiplayer

CODMAS will be bringing in a couple of LTMs into the fray this holiday season. The major LTM coming will be the ‘Holiday Havoc’ playlist. This Moshpit playlist will hold many of players favorite modes including TDM, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Domination, & their hardcore variants. As you eliminate enemies, you can unlock perks such as movement speed & quick regen. Holiday Care Packages will also randomly drop, containing random scorestreaks.

While playing this playlist, you’ll be able to earn ‘holiday cheer’. This ‘holiday cheer’ will build during a game without resetting, & can provide players with festive gameplay bonuses to give them a boost in matches. One of these is a candy cane that will increase your melee damage, along with others we don’t know of yet.

There will also be the ‘Snowfight’ LTM as a sillier mode to enjoy. You’ll be able to collect snowballs to throw at enemies. Hit em with enough snowballs to eliminate them & win. There are also no respawns in this mode. Players can expect the new Sleighjacked map variant as a selection within the LTMs later in-season.

Zombies

Zombies fans can expect a couple of LTMs for CODMAS this year. These LTMs come in the form of ‘Jingle Hells’ for Astra Malorum, & ‘List Keeper’s Challenge’.

‘Jingle Hells’ will contain many different winter themed features, such as snowballs to throw. Killing zombies with snowballs will also possibly drop presents for players to collect. Snowmen also are around the map, holding either pleasant or fighting surprises inside. Presents to unwrap, potentially holding high tier loot to get set up early.

A holiday power up titled ‘Naughty or Nice’. These power-ups are a two-way street. Either you’ll be able to earn multiple presents from the Nice power-up, or an onslaught of Ravagers if you get the Naughty power-up.

Freezing weather will also pose a challenge for those in outside areas. On round one, players will move at 85% of their regular movement speed. As rounds get higher the map gets colder, further reducing movement speed to as low as 50%. Be sure to light those barrel fires to create permanent warmth areas outside to stay toasty! Completion of the main quest will reward players with various rewards, a themed calling card, & even an Ultra Gobblegum.

For players taking on the ‘List Keeper’s Challenge’, they’ll find the main quest has been replaced with unknown objectives. These objectives build off previous ones, all requiring amp up in players resolve. These challenges are stated to be difficult. Rewards include a calling card, as well as seasonal rewards, & an ultra Gobblegum.

Warzone

Warzone will be receiving festivities this year, through CODMAS limited time events. In what’s described as “the ultimate holiday heist”, teams will battling in the Holiday Rush mode. This mode, last seen in Urzikstan, allows players to secure Christmas tree zones & collect the of gift of high tier loot. There will also be holiday decor spread around Rebirth, Verdansk, & Haven’s Hollow.

Bundles

There will be two festive themed bundles releasing with the holidays this year. That being the ‘Sweater Ops II’ & the ‘Sinister Solstice’ Zombies Pack. Both will feature Christmas themed Operator Skins for David Mason & Emma Kagan, as well as one for Nikolai. There are various winter themed blueprints, alongside other festive cosmetics coming soon with these bundles!
