The first Season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is coming on December 4th at 9AM PST, 11AM CST, & 12PM EST. For fans of the weekly challenges back in MW3 (2023), BO7 Season 1 has got you covered. Every week, players will have a set of challenges they can compete for multiple Xp Rewards, all culminating to weekly Aftermarket Parts & Seasonal Camo unlocks! We’re going to go over every challenge coming to Season 1, as well as all rewards, & even the Mastery reward here in Black Ops 7. Here’s what you need to know:
Weekly Challenges Return in Black Ops 7
The classic Weekly Challenges from Modern Warfare 3 (2023) have returned here in Black Ops 7. For those unfamiliar, Weekly Challenges was a system that allowed players to complete various challenges every week throughout a Season of MW3 (2023).
There would be a set of challenges for each mode (Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone). Weekly challenges in BO7 will span across Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, & new to the mix, Co-Op Campaign!
For players who completed challenges back in MW3, smaller XP rewards would be given, once you completed enough challenges, usually 5, you’d be awarded the Aftermarket Part for a specific weapon. From the looks in Black Ops 7, it will follow a similar system. The difference being this time you can Weapons, as well as attachments, & needing to complete 6 challenges.
Camo fans will be eating good this year, as we’ll be getting 2 camos per season through the Weekly Challenge system. Once you’d claimed all the Weekly Rewards from a season in MW3, you’d earn the Seasonal Mastery reward, an animated camo. In BO7, players can claim 5 Weekly Rewards to earn their first animated camo. Complete & claim all 9 weeks to claim a second animated camo reward.

Co-Op Campaign
- Jailbreak your weapon 3 times
- Kill 25 enemies with or affected by your Abilities
- Get 10 Kills with Equipment
- Eliminate 250 Human Enemies
- Get 10 Scorestreak Kills
- Eliminate 3 Guild Raiders
Multiplayer
- Get 12 Kills with Lethal Equipment
- Kill your nemesis 3 Times
- Win 7 Matches

- Use the Black Hat Ability to hack 10 enemies, Guild Equipment, or vehicles

- Kill 5 Enemies with or who are damaged by your Point Turret Lethal

Week Six Reward – Coda 9 Adaptive Discharge Mod

Co-op Campaign
- In Endgame: get 300 Eliminations using an Operator who is Combat Rating 30 or higher
- In Endgame: get 20 Kills shortly after Wingsuiting
- Kill an enemy revealed by your Vision Pulse Ability 10 times
- In Endgame: clear 5 Command Centers
- Destroy 10 Guild D.A.W.G.s, Sentry Turrets, or Drones
- Kill 15 Enemies while or shortly after using the Kinetic Jump Ability
Multiplayer
- Win a match of an Objective game mode with the most Objective Score
- Earn 500 or more Score in a single life 5 times
- With the Overkill Wildcard equipped: get Eliminations with a Primary Weapon equipped to your Secondary Loadout Slot
- Earn 30 One Shot, One Kill Medals with Sniper Rifles (Killed an enemy with one shot)
- Kill 5 enemies affected by your Tactical
- Earn 5 Long Shot Medals (Killed an enemy at long range)
Zombies
- Spend 200,000 Essence
- Get 1,000 Zombie Eliminations with Wall Buy Weapons
- Earn a Beamed Medal (10 Rapid Kills with the Dark Flare Field Upgrade)
- Get 200 Zombie Kills as a result of Ammo Mod activations
- Reach T.E.D.D. Tasks Mastery Targets 3 times
- Kill 2 or more Zombies with a single shot from a Sniper Rifle 3 times

- Complete 2 Contracts in a single match 5 times

There are two Animated & Universal camos that you can earn once you’ve claimed a select amount of Weekly Rewards. Once will be in the middle of the season, while the other is a mastery camo of sorts. These are the two Animated & Universal Camos you can earn, as well as the amount of Weekly Rewards you need to claim before you can collect them:
