Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies has introduced their 4th & final map into the mix. ‘Reckoning’ is sure to hold many secret & hidden Easter eggs for players to discover. BO6 Zombies has had a plethora of side Easter eggs hidden through each map, & nothing less shoud be expected here. We’re going to go over every side Easter egg we know of in ‘Reckoning’ as well as how to complete them, rewards, & more. Here’s what you need to know about Black Ops 6 Zombies last batch of side Easter eggs:
ALL SIDE EASTER EGGS
Easter Egg Song – Remember Us
With every map that’s come before, there are three separate sets of Mister Peeks headphones you must find & interact with. These are scattered around the entire map in set locations. Here are the three locations:
- In the Executive Suites, head into the Directors Office & look to the right of the travel portal. It will be hidden within a cabinet.
- Within the Entity Containment area, you’ll find a corpse sat in a chair & wearing the headphones around his neck.
- The final once can be found in Mutant Research. The headphones will be found on a corpse propped against the wall. You can find it next to the Disciple Stasis Pod.

After activating all three headphones, the Easter egg song ‘Remember Us’ by Kevin Sherwood & Elena Siegman will begin to play for all players!
Second Song – Samantha’s Peace
In the spawn of the map, or reception area, there are 3 security gates. For each gate, they’ll make different tones everytime you pass through them, either one way or the other. Please note you’ll need to have activated the Pack-A-Punch first in order for the security gates to work.
The image below shows the gate numbers. You’ll need to run through these gates following the order: 1 – 3 – 2 – 1 – 3 – 2 .

You’ll need to repeat this in the same order as you did the first time. If you head through the gates in that certain order, it will trigger the song that plays at the end of Tag Der Toten’s Easter egg (Samantha’s Peace) to begin. You’ll even get a quote from Richtofen, about how the song is familiar to him, & that he heard it a lifetime ago.
Free Essence Paintings
You can earn an easy 1,500 essence by finding missing paintings scattered around the map. once you locate these paintings, bring them up to the Directors Office & place them on the wall next to the Arsenal Machine. Please not you can only bring one painting at a time.

- The first painting you can find is in the Reception Area, or back in spawn. It will against the wall in the small red side room, the one with the teleporter to Pack-A-Punch.

- The second painting can be found in the Pack-A-Punch room. If you head to the upper level on the same side as the Gobblegum Machine, you can find it propped up near the small stairs.

- The final painting can be found against a pillar in the Klaus Assembly area balcony. It sits right next to a janitor cart as well on the left of the room (if coming from the launcher from T1).

Free Salvage, Essence, & Perks
Located in the Executive Suites, you can find these small & round trash cans to interact with. These trash cans have the possibility of shooting out Essence, salvage, & even possibly perk power ups/cans that you can pick up. The trash cans are scattered around all over the Executive Suites, possibly even in other locations of the map.

Free Perk
At some point during your game, you may go down & lose your perks. Not to worry, you can earn a free perk back. If you look between the executive suites & mutant research lab, you may spot Mister Peeks. If you shoot at him, he’ll float up to the Executive Suites area, where he’ll be dancing.

After finding Mister Peeks on the rail, be sure to interact with him & he’ll trigger a hoop minigame you can take part in. Parachute down off the top & pass through the hoops you spot. If done correctly through all hoops, you’ll earn yourself a free perk!

Second Free Perk
For a second free perk you can earn, you’ll need to reach the step of the main Easter egg where you can break open the portal with the Gorgofex. Head into the Pack-A-Punch room & interact with a red button on the terminal next to a collection device upstairs. This will begin a sequence where you’ll need to raise the score on the counter above the device to 2000.

Quantum Vermin will begin to spawn in that you need to kill. These vermin are 200 points per kill, while regular zombies are worth 10 points. You only have a minute & a half or so to complete this. Once the score reaches 2000, you’ll earn the free perk.
Vending Machine Easter Egg

If you head on over to Android Assembly in T2, you’ll notice a vending machine stationed in-front of the FrankenKlaus that you construct. Regular melees to this machine can potentially drop basic loot. Hitting it with Melee Macchiato will yield even better loot results. We saw something similar to this vending machine in Liberty Falls.
Free Self Revive Easter Egg

If you happen to be passing through the Directors Office in the Executive Suites, you may notice his pool ball rack on the wall. You can easily earn a free Self Revive from this rack. Simply shoot both of the 1 balls, & then the 5 ball. Once they’re shot, you’ll be given the free self revive. Be sure to collect the free 100 essence by shooting the pool balls on the pool table as well.
Collecting this free self revive will also trigger the song ‘Samantha’s Soul’ to begin playing.
Free AAT, Pack-A-Punch Crystal, & Legendary Aether Tool

If you’re in the reception area back in spawn, you can earn a free AAT. Stand on the Janus logo, & shoot at the Janus logo on the TV directly in front of you. This will begin a sequence where you’ll need to precisely shoot Janus logos that begin to appear all around the room. A semi-auto works best for this, & you’ll also be concealed from zombies whilst doing it.
You only have about 8 seconds to shoot each target as it appears. Even if you fail the attempt, you can simply shoot the Janus logo again & start over. The logos you need to shoot will spawn in the same position every single time. Upon successful completion, the AAT will appear on the front reception desk in front of you.
If you repeat this process a couple more times, you’ll be able to earn a free Aetherium Crystal to Pack-A-Punch your weapon, as well as a free Legendary Aether Tool. This allows players to get weapons set up pretty early on in your game.
Free Wonder Weapons
Gorgofex
While the Gorgofex is tied to the main Easter Egg, we’ll still list the quest to unlock a free one. While in the Mutant Research lab, locate 2 static screens within the room. One is located to the right of the stasis pod containing Richtofens family, while the other is to the left of the Deadshot machine. A word will flash across each screen. Keep note of what both of these words are. Using these words will give you a number combination you’ll need to unlock a secret lab right above you.
Detonated’s Periodic Table Solver
How will you get this number combination? By using the our new Periodic Table Solver located over on the Detonated Codex page! All you have to do is input the two words you saw on the screens & our solver will give you the code you need for the keypad. Be sure to check it out here: Codex Periodic Table Solver!
Growing the Cyst
Once you’ve accessed the secret lab, you’ll need to grow a cyst using a growth pod machine against the back wall. At first, vermin will begin to spawn in & you’ll need to weaken them using your weapons. As they’re weakened, you’ll notice this machine begin to pull them in & absorb their essence.
You need to complete this process with three vermin. After completing this, you’ll then need to repeat this with three zombies. After growing the cysts, collect it from the machine.
Evolving the Cyst
Once you’ve collected the cyst, take it over to the Quantum Computing Core area & stand near these Aetherium Trees giving off yellow energy. Your player will then pull out the Cyst as it begins to absorb the energy from the plants. There are three trees in total you must complete this with the cyst. Once you’ve successfully absorbed all the energy, the cyst will now be evolved.
Defeating the Forsaken
Head on over to the Dark Aether Entity Containment room & begin to activate four computers around the room. Once you’ve activated the first computer, you’ll have a limited time to activate the next, so move with haste. Once you’ve activated all four, an Uber Klaus will spawn in. You’ll want to shoot off the shoulder armor of the Klaus & then lead him to a pressure plate directly in front of the Forsaken’s containment pod.
Once the Uber Klaus steps onto it, he will become possessed. The Forsaken will begin to transfer his essence into the Uber Klaus. You will then need to defeat the Foresaken once & for all. He essentially is an HVT Uber Klaus, complete with Uber Klaus Core. After defeating the Forsaken, he will drop the Dark Aether infused energy needed to create the Gorgofex.
Free Chicken Bucket Hat
Within the bar of the Executive Suites, you can find a bucket of chicken on the top shelf. Throw a projectile at it & that should spawn in six chicken drumsticks. These drumsticks need to be collected to complete the EE. The drumsticks are in the break room & can be located in the following spots:
- You can find one to the left of the window barricade. It sits on a chair.

- Another one lays behind a trash bin. This is next to the window barricade.

- A couple can be found on the bar itself. One is next to a fork on the bar on the right side or the bucket, while another is on the left side.

- If you’re heading into the Directors Office from the Break Room, you can find another drumstick on the floor to the left side of the doorway.

- The last is underneath a chair that you can find right in front of the Director’s Office entryway.

After collecting all the drumsticks, reclaim the chicken bucket from off the bar. You will now be wearing it on your head as a cosmetic item.
Aetherella Companion
Aetherella returns in Reckoning Zombies as a companion to face the hordes. If you make your way into the Reception Area of the map & look into the barricade leading to a bathroom, you’ll notice several stalls. Simply use a spray paint on the far left stall & it will open. This will reveal an Aetherella toy. You’ll then need to use a charged Gorgofex shot to mobilize the toy.

Once Aetherella is active, make your way to the Pack-A-Punch room & jump into the beam in the center of the room. This will cause Aetherella to become stuck in the gravitational area of the beam. Simply jump into the beam again & navigate into Aetherella to activate her powers.

She will stick by you for 3-4 rounds, & will fire energy beams at whatever you’re aiming at. The beams aren’t super powerful, but can be useful.
Jumpscare Easter Egg
If you take a scoped sniper rifle & head over to the Executive Suites, you can find a jumpscare of Richtofen’s son. The SVD is also a wall buy in the area, you’ll just need to ensure it has a proper scope on your build.

Make your way over to the launcher to T2, & look out to the left. You’ll spot what appears to be a blanket for a picnic on the ground. Aim in & stare at it with the sniper rifle to trigger the jumpscare.
C.A.S.T.E.R Turret Upgrades
Within the Quantum Core room or in the Forsaken room, you can find 2 C.A.S.T.E.R Turrets. These turrets were touted as being able to be upgraded multiple times. This can be done be using them to get a very large amount of kills (the precise number is unknown). After the turrets are able to farm these large amounts of kills, you will receive an error message from the device (subtitles help keep track of this easier).

Once this happens a random zombie you kill will drop a hard drive. Take this hard drive into the Quantum Core room & interact with the brain in the central computer. This will begin a mini-lockdown. You must protect the computer from undead. Failure to do so will cause the hard drive to eject after about 45 seconds, & you’ll need to repeat this process.

After successful completion, the C.A.S.T.E.R Turrets will reach tier 2.0. You’ll simply need to complete this process 2 more times to reach tier 3.0 & 4.0. The amount of kills needed will increase for each upgrade, as well as activation costs. To counter however, the area of effect, radius, & damage will also significantly increase with each upgrade. This is a major assist for high round players.
Guaranteed Free Power Up Locations
These are the locations of free powerups you can find throughout the ‘Reckoning’ map.
Free Max Ammo
You can find this right near the jump pad in Klaus/Android Assembly. Before using the launcher, simply look to the left & look up on one of the beams. You will find the Max Ammo there.

Free Nuke
If you head into the Pack-A-Punch room & face the crafting table, you can find a free Nuke Powerup by looking to the right & facing the fence. There, just above the blue pipe is the Nuke.

Free Double Points
The free double points is located in the Quantum Computing Core room. It will be inside of a rack above the central terminal device. You can spot it if shooting from the C.A.S.T.E.R Turret.

Free Insta-Kill
Within the Dark Entity Containment room, you can find the Insta-Kill through the window labeled Employees Only. Simply look on top of the servers to the left.

Free Full Power
Within the Mutant Research Lab, stand in front of the Deadshot Daiquiri machine & look up towards the ceiling. The Full Power is located on the beams above.

Free Bonus Points

Free Bonus Points is located on a radio tower if looking up from the Executive Suites. You can spot it you’re viewing from the launcher side of the room.
Free Max Armor
You can find the Max Armor on top of the turret of the armored vehicle all the way to the right. Simply look outside the front doors of the Reception/Spawn Room.

Free Firesale
After collecting all the other free power ups, you’ll be able to find a firesale power-up located in the Reception/Spawn area. Look into the barricade to the left of Quick Revive & in the pit of fire to find the Firesale.
