Xbox is tapping into the handheld gaming market with its newest consoles: ROG Xbox Ally, and the ROG Xbox Ally X. In this article we’ll be telling you everything you need to know about this groundbreaking announcement.
Today Xbox is hosting it’s very own Games Showcase and not long into the event they revealed their next console. In collaboration with ASUS they’ll bringing two new handheld consoles to shelves later this year: ROG Xbox Ally, and the ROG Xbox Ally X.
Described as having: “the power of Xbox with the freedom you expect from Windows.” the Ally is an all new way to play all your Xbox games. Access your Xbox library from your account, download natively, or stream straight from the cloud with seamless gameplay ability.
The standard Ally is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2A, 16 GB Memory, and 512 GB’s of storage, whole the ROG Xbox Ally X is equipped with Ryzen’s Z2 Extreme, 24 GB of Memory, and an entire 1 TB of storage.
Currently no pricing is available, but we’re sure to get details soon as the Ally handheld Xbox device is set to launch during 2025’s Holiday Season.
