The Replacer, played by Peter Stormare, is returning for the new marketing campaign of Black Ops 6. Peter first played the character for a promotion during Black Ops 2, and has since reprised his role for every Treyarch title excluding Cold War. Fans were able to jump in to play as the Replacer in Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, but may be able to again within Black Ops 6. Here’s everything we know so far:

THE REPLACER RETURNS
At COD NEXT, we were shown a pre brief presentation for the broadcast day, but we also got a sneak peek of the Replacer’s return!

I managed to sit in the Replacer’s car on the red carpet, which was a dream come true to say the least. Marketing just hits different for a Black Ops title.
NEW REPLACER TRAILER
Surprisingly this past Sunday, a Black Ops 6 trailer premiered which contained new skits with the Replacer. The trailer has surpassed over 10 million views and is currently trending on YouTube.

Call of Duty also dropped an additional clip on Twitter, with more likely coming before launch and possibly even during the DLC Season.
REPLACER OPERATOR TEASER
During the COD NEXT event, caster Miles Ross made a comment regarding the Replacer’s return which seems to imply he’ll be a playable character in Black Ops 6.

💥 During COD Next, it was said “You’re going to be able to get him in-game soon” — a detail MANY missed.

The replacer was featured as an operator in Black Ops 4, exclusively through Blackout for 1100 COD points. An animated blueprint which displays different “replaced” occupations was featured in this pack.

UPCOMING BUNDLES
New Call of Duty titles typically don’t launch with any bundles, nor do microtransactions get added into the game before Season 1, but the Replacer could be an exception.
It’s also a possibility that the Replacer could be featured in the Battlepass or through a bundle that launches within Season 1. Considering the pricing of recently celebrity or licensed operator, the pack will likely cost upwards of 2400 COD Points.
