MODERN WARFARE 3 REVEAL COMING SOONER THAN WE THINK?

As we have previously reported, Modern Warfare 3 is rumored to be the Call of Duty for 2023, and now we may have a guess for when the official reveal will be for the next installment. Here’s everything you need to know:

POTENTIAL REVEAL DATE:

Insider Gaming strikes again with more Modern Warfare 3 news. This time, they report that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be revealed via an in-game Warzone event, similar to those of Black Ops Cold War (2020) and Vanguard (2021) in the original Warzone, on August 1st.

Something very interesting to note is that Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2 is currently slated to end on August 1st with Season 5 launching on August 2nd. Could there be a plan to end Season 4 with a BANG utilizing a full-game reveal inside of Warzone?

Another interesting wrench to throw in the conversation:

🔵 The CLASSIFIED Sector of the Battlepass, set to open at Mid-Season, unlocks in 14 Days.

🔵 This would leave us with 21 DAYS LEFT in Season 4, Five Days with no event?

WHAT COULD THE REVEAL BE LIKE?:

As of now, nobody knows. It could take place in either Al Mazrah, Vondel, or Ashika Island. My guess, is they’ll utilize Vondel once Battle Royale support for the map drops since it’s new and has a perfect atmosphere and size to do a reveal inside of it.

It’s good to note too that Sledgehammer Games recently tweeted about the final playlist update in Vanguard, potentially hinting that they may soon be parting ways with the title as they fully move to Modern Warfare 3.

Previously with the older reveals, they used Verdansk and Verdansk ’84 to reveal Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard in different and unique ways. Both were very hands-on events, so it’s safe to assume that the Modern Warfare 3 reveal will work the same way.

WHAT COULD WE EXPECT FROM MODERN WARFARE 3?:

That’s slightly tricky. It’s said to be a modified version of MW2, but could play more like Vanguard since Sledgehammer Games are the rumored developer. I wouldn’t expect crazy movement similar to that of MW2019 or Vanguard, or any DRASTIC changes such as red-dot mini-maps or the addition of the Dead Silence perk.
