MW3 & Warzone Season 5 begins on July 24th, at 9am PT, 11am CT, 12pm EST. Modern Warfare 3 Season 5 is here and with it comes an all new prestige mastery camo for players to unlock. Prestige camos are a thing introduced in Modern Warfare III to add an extra grind for those who have already obtained each mastery camo in the game. Season 5 of MWIII is no different, and has added a really nice and clean animated prestige camo to unlock. Ready to learn how to unlock it? Here’s what you need to know:
MERCURY ANIMATED CAMO UNLOCK GUIDE (EASY)
- Mercury (Animated) | Season 5 Prestige Camo
The newest addition to the Modern Warfare 3 Prestige Camo roster, Mercury, is an animated camo that’s obtainable after meeting specific requirements. What are these requirements you may ask? Take a peek below:
- Level your chosen weapon up to maximum (this can be any MWII or MWIII weapon you have in your Gunsmith collection).
- Next, earn the One Trick Weapon Prestige camo for that weapon (earn 150,000 XP).
- Next, earn the Molten Obsidian Weapon Prestige camo for that weapon (earn an additional 200,000 XP after unlocking One Trick).
- Next, earn the Mercury Weapon Prestige camo for that weapon (earn an additional 250,000 XP after unlocking both One Trick and Molten Obsidian for that weapon).
It’s really as simple as that. For those of you that are already passively doing these camos, you’re well on your way to unlocking Mercury off the bat when Season 5 launches. Hopefully you have spare Double XP Tokens at the ready!
