MW3 & Warzone Season 5 begins on July 24th, at 9am PT, 11am CT, 12pm EST. Modern Warfare 3 Season 5 is here and with it comes the return of the fan-favorite STG-44, appropriately retitled STG, and it’s first impression is beautiful. Today, we will go over how to get the Modern Warfare III STG and provide you with alternatives to obtain the weapon. Ready to learn how to obtain MWIII’s newest weapon addition? Here’s what you need to know:
HOW TO UNLOCK THE STG (EASY)
- STG (ASSAULT RIFLE)
- Last seen in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Fan-favorite WWII era weapon.
- SEASON 5 BASE UNLOCK
- To unlock the STG Assault Rifle in Season 5, you need to purchase the Season 5 Battle Pass and work your way to Sector 7 and fully complete that sector to unlock the STG!
- SEASON 5 BLACKCELL UPGRADE
- You can speed up this process buy purchasing the BlackCell Upgrade for the Season 5 Battle Pass and instantly unlock either the variant at Sector 19, or by using the free tier skips to unlock the Base Variant!
- MODERN WARFARE ZOMBIES UNLOCK
- Just like previous seasons, you can have someone drop the STG in Zombies, or get it from the Mystery Box, and exfil with it to immediately unlock it!
- POST SEASON 5 UNLOCK
- After Season 5 ends, you can complete a challenge to unlock the STG. Enable to see this challenge after Season 5 ends, you need to find the weapon in the Create-A-Class menu and hover over the STG to see it’s unlock challenge! *It’s currently unknown what the challenge will be, so check back after Season 5!*
