Black Ops 6 Season 1 launches on November 14th & hails the return of Aftermarket Parts! AMPs return in the latest entry of the franchise & are bringing back some classics, as well showing off some new ones. Players are itching to get their hands on the newest Aftermarket Parts/Conversion Kits to battle it out in the newest installment of Black Ops Multiplayer. Today, we’re going over the AMPs introduced in Season 1:
AFTERMARKET PART CONVERSIONS RETURN!
Aftermarket Parts provide players with an edge against their opponents in the field. Introduced in Modern Warfare 3, AMPs can either add to your weapon or convert it into a whole different tool altogether. From Flame Throwers, Dual Wield, or even Three-Round burst conversion kits, there’s all sorts of AMPs that have been introduced & used in Call of Duty, & now more are to come in Black Ops 6.
AMPs will not be earned in Weekly Challenges this go around as Weeklys will not be returning in Black Ops 6. They instead will be earned through Events & the Battle Pass this time around. A different approach, but one we’ll wait & see the reception too. Let’s go over each AMP coming in Season 1 & how to unlock them:
HOW TO UNLOCK EACH AFTERMARKET PART
12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath

Add some heat to your Shotgun blasts with incendiary rounds comprised of magnesium sparks that stick to and burn enemies over time. Equipping the 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath Fire Mod prevents using Barrel Attachments, but the tradeoff is well worth it when seeking a fiery finish.
The 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath makes its’ return to the Black Ops franchise. It will be available on the launch of Season 1. You can unlock this AMP through the Battle Pass on Page 7. Obtain it through the rewards by using Battle Pass Tokens you earn in-game. It may possibly be the HVT Tier reward for Page 7, so spend your tokens wisely.
*It will likely also be available in “The Armory” after Season 1 in case you didn’t earn it in time.
Buffer Weight Stock

The heavier Buffer Weight Stock provides significantly smoother action through the additional resistance met by the bolt carrier group. The improvement results in more manageable recoil through sustained fire, ideal for staying on target though at the expense of ADS Speed and Aim Walk Movement Speed.
The Buffer Weight Stock will help aid against recoil in your everlasting fight on the battlefield. You may lose some speed, but it could be huge for precise hits on your target. This Stock Attachment AMP will be available for:
- XM4 Assault Rifle
- XMG LMG
- DM-10 Marksman Rifle
It’s listed to come “In-Season” as an “Event Reward”. This means we could potentially see it as a reward to unlock in the “Hit List” Event, which is coming later on in Season 1.
*It will likely also be available in “The Armory” after Season 1 in case you didn’t earn it in time.
Burst Fire Conversion (XM4)

Convert the XM4 Assault Rifle’s primary firing mode into a three-round burst to help conserve ammo and stay on target. There’s an impressive lack of recoil too, so it’s still possible to pump out consistent damage when facing heavy threats.
Listed under the Fire Mod Attachments, this Burst Fire Conversion AMP will convert your full auto XM4 into a three-round burst, converting it into something similar to the M16. Since it’s listed as an “In Season – Event Reward” it can possibly be part of the “Hit List” Event later in Season 1.
*It will likely also be available in “The Armory” after Season 1 in case you didn’t earn it in time.
Burst Fire Conversion (Kompakt 92)

Convert the Kompakt 92 SMG’s primary firing mode into an exceptionally rapid three-round burst. Equipping the Burst Fire Conversion Fire Mod locks the Underbarrel and Barrel Attachment slots. When you need to fire quickly in close quarters, hold down the trigger to automatically cycle through burst shots.
The Burst Fire Conversion will convert your SMG into a three-round burst that’ll cycle through burst shots, provided you hold your trigger down. You can find it under the Fire Mod Attachments to equip. While it’s listed under “In Season” & “Event Reward”, we could possibly see it as a reward in “Hit List” Event later on in Season 1.
*It will likely also be available in “The Armory” after Season 1 in case you didn’t earn it in time.
