How to Get a Warzone Nuke WITHOUT Winning Five Matches

Fans who were itching to complete champion’s quest no longer have to win five games, for a limited time.

The Season 3 Champion’s Quest Rewards Are On The House

Earlier This Week, Raven Software announced that up until Season 4, Champion’s Quest is enabled for all Players in every core BR mode. This means the contract is up for grabs for any squad that infils, without the need for any squad to have gotten five consecutive wins prior. It’s a first come, first serve scenrio for the squad that manages to collect the contract and complete all objectives without being wiped. As a reminder, rewards for champion’s quest reset with each season, so now is your last chance to get the following rewards:

  • “Apparition” Mil-Sim SpecGru Faction Operator Skin
  • “Quest Nuke” Calling Card
  • “Quest Nuke” Emblem
  • “Boom Box” Weapon Charm
  • “Radioactive” Weapon Sticker
  • “Nuclear Nightmare” TAQ-V Weapon Blueprint (Yes it Has Tracers)

How to Complete The Champion’s Quest Contract

In order to complete the contract, players and their allies must track down three radioactive elements, which all have negative effects when picked up, in the following order:

  1. Beryllium – Marks the carrier for all hostiles similarly to a Advanced UAV, which updates in real time.
  2. Plutonium – Causes damage over time to the carrier and anyone around them and applies a slight warping to vision.
  3. Tritium – Will scramble the carrier’s radar.

Note that if the player who meets the conditions is in a squad, their squad members can also carry the elements. The elements also will not spawn immediately requiring the player to wait briefly before the location of the element is marked.

Once all three elements have been acquired, a nuclear bomb case will be dropped by cargo plane at a random location. Once it has been dropped, players can insert the elements into the bomb, and once all elements have been inserted, the bomb will begin counting down to detonation. Hostiles will also be alerted when the bomb site is revealed and can defuse the nuke when the countdown starts, and if they are able to defuse, the game continues as normal, invalidating the Champion’s Quest.

However, if the countdown finishes successfully, a nuclear explosion will consume the map, winning the match in favor of the individuals who assembled the nuke, giving them “Champion’s Domination.” Credit to the COD Wiki for supplying the correct steps.

Which Maps Can You Complete Champion’s Quest On?

As of now, Champion’s Quest can only be completed on Al Mazrah. It is unknown if a Nuke contract will ever be added to Ashika Island, Vondel, or any Resurgence experience, but this challenge has certainly spiced up replayability inside of the Warzone ecosystem.

Stay tuned for livestreams attempting to complete Champion’s Quest and for updates on what rewards get added in Season 4.
