Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is continuing its largest season ever with the release of the Mid-Season update – Season 1 Reloaded! There’s even more content on the way for fans to enjoy, & it’s coming to every mode available in BO7 & Warzone. From classic MP map remasters, to new world events in Endgame, & even a new crossover, players will have their hands full with the release of Season 1 Reloaded. Today, we’re going over everything coming in Season 1 Reloaded for Black Ops 7, including all content & the respective mode it’s coming to. Here’s what you need to know:
Season 1 Reloaded Release Date for Black Ops 7
The release date for BO7 & Warzone Season 1 Reloaded is expected to be on January 8th. This will mark Week 5 for the weekly challenges, which is also where the first Weekly Camo can be earned. Week 5 will mark the halfway point of the Weekly Challenges. January 8th falls on a Thursday, which has become the usual release date for Seasons of content in Black Ops 7.
Pre-load for Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded will most likely be a few days before the update on Battlenet, and about a day before release on console and steam.
Fallout Returns to Call of Duty in Black Ops 7 Collab
Fallout fans can get excited as it appears they’ll be doing another collab in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7! With the last collab in MW3 (2023), Fallout will be bringing in new operators with this latest crossover. The new characters coming to BO7 are:
- The Ghoul
- Lucy
- Maximus (Power Armor)
These are all significant characters in the Fallout TV Show, with Season 2 mainly focused on New Vegas. With Nuketown taking place in Nevada, it only makes sense we will likely see a stylized version of the map release in connection to the crossover. It can be seen in the background of the teaser.
Endgame Content in Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded
World Events – Wraith Wing
Endgame will be receiving two new world events, following that of the Z-Rex & Colossus roaming the map. Fear has manifested a VTOL that will roam the skies of Avalon. This VTOL will be capable of shields & cloning. Once you’ve taken down the shields, you’ll be able to destroy the aircraft & claim the bountiful rewards for yourself.
There will be another world event coming later on that has yet to be revealed for Endgame. Though, it will require your best skills to take on & conquer.
Phantom Skill Track
The newest set of skills coming to Endgame will be the Phantom Skill Track. These skills that can be learned are the following:
- Ambush
- Critical hits from behind on unsuspecting foes will deal more damage.
- Fast Melee
- Melee attacks will be faster.
- Trap Avoidance
- Traps & Mines will take longer to detect your presence. When fully upgraded, you’re fully undetectable.
- Silent Movement
- Enemy detection distance is reduced & quiets movement.
- Elusive Target
- Enemies accuracy is reduced when shooting at you.
- Decoy
- Once major damage is taken, an Echo Unit is deployed to distract enemies.
Multiplayer Content in Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded
The Multiplayer offerings for BO7 Season 1 Reloaded will include 3 maps, a new mode, as well as tons of returning content from BO6. Let’s go over each bit of content coming to Multiplayer in Season 1 Reloaded.
Multiplayer Maps
Yakei – 6v6 & 2v2
The rooftops of a Japanese city become the battlefield between rival teams. Every twist, turn, & corner on this map will provide an edge for you to take advantage of. This three lane map provides flank opportunities & holds deadly drops, unless you use the wall-jump ability.
Meltdown – 6v6
The classic BO2 map ‘Meltdown’ returns as a remaster for the very first time. Players familiar with the nuclear power plant may remember its many vantage points, as well as choke points. They may also remember notable points of the map such as the turbine, by the water, & down below where CQB comes into play.
Fringe – 6v6
Fringe makes a return from Black Ops 3 & Black Ops 6! The iconic three lane map now features additional routes of travel thanks to the new wall-jump ability. The bar awaits players looking for a CQB encounter, while the main road provides more ranged battles. The Loading Route can provide either close or ranged engagements!
Multiplayer Modes
Takeover
The brand-new mode ‘Takeover’ will be making a debut in BO7 Season 1 Reloaded! Two teams of 6 will battle it out with one another for coveted control points. Each zone controlled will nab your team a point. If all three zones are captured, there will be a cooldown period, then all the zones will be moved to new locations.

Zombies Content in Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded
BO7 Zombies will be receiving a few things in Season 1 Reloaded. Let’s take a brief look at the incoming Zombies content coming in the Mid-Season update.
Zarya Cosmodrome – Survival
The Cosmodrome from Ashes of the Damned will be the latest POI releasing as a survival map in BO7 Zombies. Reaching round milestones will surely provide players with small rewards to show off to other players.
Astra Malorum – Directed Mode
For players having a bit of trouble figuring out the Astra Malorum Easter Egg, this will be the mode for you. Directed Mode not only will cap off on certain rounds for steps, but aid you in the direction you need to head to progress forward.
Returning Content
Similar to the list of retuning content for Multiplayer, there will be returning content for Zombies as well. Here is all the returning content coming in BO7 Season 1 Reloaded Zombies:

Warzone Content in Black Ops 7 Season 1 Reloaded
Warzone hasn’t really been noted to have much coming in Season 1 Reloaded. However, it was noted that certain anomalies had appeared in certain [CLASSIFIED] locations. These will become available during the Mid-Season update for Warzone Season 1 Reloaded.
