We’re just about two weeks out from the launch of Season 5, & Modern Warfare 3 is dropping delivered ANOTHER challenge, the “Vortex: Death’s Lair” event. The event offers new challenges & rewards for players in Multiplayer, Warzone & Zombies. Here’s everything you need to know about the Vortex: Death’s Grip challenge event:
EVENT TAB & REWARDS
There are 10 total new rewards for completing this event. You’ll only have to complete one challenge of the three presented for a reward.
Complete the Multiplayer challenge & get your reward? No need to do the Zombies challenge for that specific reward. All modes have a challenge, & you’re free to choose any mode to earn your prize. Here’s all the challenges & corresponding rewards for the event:
- 45MIN DOUBLE XP TOKEN
- Multiplayer: Get 10 Operator Multikills
- Zombies: Kill 2 enemies with a single shot 10 times
- Warzone: In WZ BR, Get 3 Operator Kills using Assault Rifles
- “CAN’T DIE, MUST PARTY” EMBLEM
- Multiplayer: Get 40 Operator Kills with a Suppressed Weapon and Hijacked IFF Strobe Perk
- Zombies: Get 75 Kills with a Melee weapon while Aether Shroud is Active
- Warzone: In WZ BR, Get 3 Operator Kills using SMGs
- “DEATH AT HIGH NOON” CHARM
- Multiplayer: Get 5 Operator Kills with an Extreme Magnification Scope Equipped on a Sniper
- Zombies: Get 200 Critical Kills with a Scoped Sniper
- Warzone: In WZ BR, Complete 2 Bounty Contracts
- “SEE YOU SOON!” WEAPON STICKER
- Multiplayer: Get 5 Operator Double Kills with a Launcher
- Zombies: Kill 15 Mimics
- Warzone: In WZ Plunder, Get 5 Operator Kills using Sniper Rifles
- 1 HOUR DOUBLE WEAPON XP TOKEN
- Multiplayer: Get 20 Operator Backstab Kills with the Blacklight Flashlight Perk Equipped
- Zombies: Get 200 Critical Kills with a Silenced SMG
- Warzone: In WZ Plunder, Get 5 Operator Kills using Shotguns
- BATTLE PASS TIER SKIP TOKEN
- Multiplayer: Get 3 Operator 1 Shot 1 Kills with a Shotgun in 1 life
- Zombies: Get 200 1 Shot 1 Kills with a Pack-a-Punched Sniper
- Warzone: In WZ BR, Complete 2 Most Wanted Contracts
- “PUT EM UP!” LARGE DECAL
- Multiplayer: Perform 10 Operator Executions
- Zombies: Get 10 consecutive Kills without taking damage with a Melee 10 times
- Warzone: In WZ Resurgence, Get 3 Operator Kills using Battle Rifles
- 30MIN DOUBLE BATTLE PASS XP TOKEN
- Multiplayer: Get 25 Operator Kills with Throwing Knives or Melee Weapons
- Zombies: Get 120 Zombie Kills with Throwing Knives
- Warzone: In WZ Resurgence, Get 3 Operator Kills using LMGs
- “FOUR HORSEMAN, ONE WINNER” CALLING CARD
- Multiplayer: Spot 20 Operators with the Tac Camera or Recon Drone
- Zombies: Get 200 Kills with Jugger-Nog Active
- Warzone: In WZ Resurgence, Complete 1 Big Game Bounty Contract

MASTERY REWARD
Upon completion of all 9 challenge sections, you’ll be able to claim the final reward. You’ll unlock the “PRESS F” blueprint for the SVA-545.
