With the Main Quest of Black Ops 6 Zombies Terminus now solved, many of the side easter eggs are being discovered. Players are in for a treat as there are quite a few side easter eggs hidden on & around BO6 Terminus Island. Hidden treasure chests, boat racing, free power ups, etc. Today, we’re going to be covering ALL of the side easter eggs discovered & how to complete them. Ready to learn more? Here’s what you need to know:

Boat Race
If you head over to Castle Rock Island, be sure to take a swim on the side furthest from the main island. On the sea floor, there will be a purple yacht that flashes red. When you interact with it, you’ll be treated to a boat racing minigame to compete against your allies.
*It appears to be bugged in some games, as it isn’t flashing red for some players.
The Essence of Basketball
Located above the Living Quarters building, you’ll find a basketball lodged on the roof. Shooting this basketball at the right angle will cause it to fall through the basketball net located in the Rec Yard. This will reward the players with a small fireworks show & 2,000 Essence. It’s tricky but it can be rewarding in the early rounds.
Free Power Ups
Free Double Points
Within the highest room in the Biolabs (the room with the Mystery Box spawn), you can find a Double Points symbol behind a set of boxes on a filing cabinet, on the right side of the room. Shooting it will earn you a free Double Points Power Up.
Free Max Ammo
Right outside of the spawn area, there is a watch tower. Head out to the “Rec Yard” & look up at the tower. You will see a miniature Max Ammo on the ledge of the window. Upon shooting it, you will be rewarded with a Free Max Ammo Power Up!
Free Bonus Points
On the “Shipwreck”, look up towards the windows that lie above. In the very top right window, you’ll find a miniature Bonus Points. Shooting it will earn you a Free Bonus Points Power Up!
Free Nuke
A small miniature Nuke will be tucked away behind a rock barricade on “Crab Island”, sort of a mini cave if you will. Shooting it will of course reward you with a Free Nuke Power Up!
Free Full Power
You may head down to the docks to grab a boat & make your way to another island, but you can find a miniature Full Power before you leave. If you look on a sideways beam beneath the inaccessible sea tower, you’ll spot a hard to see mini–Full Power. Shoot it & receive a Free Full Power!
Free Insta Kill
If you look high upon the ruins of Temple Island, you can find a mini-Insta Kill. It will be sitting on the left side ledge of the Temple opening. Shooting it will earn you a Free Insta Kill Power Up!
Treasure Chest
Discovering the Captain
- To join the pirate’s life, grab yourself Melee Macchiato & head into the sea caves. Towards the back wall of the cave, there will be an opening into a small chamber. Inside, you’ll spot a map, a skeleton of the captain, & a treasure chest.
Recover the Watch
- Your map will then be marked with a “X”. Take a boat & drive over to the spot marked with an “X”. There will be a watch on the sea floor, pick it up & head back the captain. Interact with him to return his watch, & your map will then gain 3 new “X” marks on it.
Releasing the Spirits
- Pickup a few more Molotovs & head to each of the locations marked “X” on your map. At each one, you will find a skeleton that you must set on fire.
- One is located on Rock Castle Island buried in the sand
- The next is located on the Battered & Crashed Ship on the mast
- The final is located on Tomb Island in front of the Tomb
- Setting these skeletons alight will spawn in an HVT. Upon the HVT’s death, they will drop a cursed token. You will fight an HVT at every skeleton, and will need to grab a token from each. After gathering all 3 tokens, head back to the captain. Interacting with him will cue dialogue in which he will give you 3 Legendary Guns. After this, head to Crab Island at the bottom of the map and fight for 3 rounds until the storm gets rough, in which a chest will spawn with a Cursed Talisman inside.
The Cursed Talisman will grant both a buff and debuff to points:
- Debuff – Every hit taken will make the player lose 500 Points
- Buff – Earn 30% more points
Music EE
To activate the music Easter Egg in Terminus, you’ll want to find 3 Mister Peeks headphones. After interacting with all 3, you’ll trigger the Easter Egg song “Can You Hear Me? (Come In)” by Kevin Sherwood.
- The first one can be found in “Engineering”
- The second one can be found in the “Mining Tunnels”
- & The last one can be found in the “Biolabs”
Let Em Cook
Ever wanted to earn an achievement for being a chef in Black Ops Zombies? Now you can! Grab an explosive piece of equipment & make your way to the large area of water in the Biolabs. There should be a small group of red fish that spawn. Throw your explosive at them & collect the fish from the water.
Next, you’ll want to collect the following ingredients:
- The Plant
- Cooking Oil
- Can of Beans
- Salt Ball
- Battery
- Brain
Head back to the mess hall & throw all your newly collected ingredients into a pan. Be sure to use the pan on the left side of the stove. After adding them all, progress a round & return to the stove. Eat the freshly cooked dish & you’ll earn the achievement. If you wait too long, you’ll burn it & have to start over with a new game.
The Red Fish you sadly must kill & collect – Various areas of water. 
The plant – Growing along the wall leading up into ‘Interrogations’ 
Cooking Oil – On the shelf to the right of the stove in the ‘Mess Hall’. 
Can of Beans – In-between two boxes of Cabbage in the ‘Mess Hall’. 
Salt Ball – On top of the fridge in the ‘Living Quarters’. 
Battery – On a workbench in ‘Engineering’. 
Brain – Located on a scale within the ‘Biolabs’. 
All the Ingredients in a pan. Use the pan on the left side of the stove.
Pool Table
On the upper floor of the Living Quarters, there will be a pool table. Shooting the pool balls will send them flying into the pockets of the table. You’ll earn 100 Essence for doing this Easter Egg.
(Whack-A-Crab) Free Perk EE
- Arm yourself with a Molotov or Semtex, & head on over to Crab Island. There’s an Easter Egg hidden that can earn you a free perk. After arriving, head to the center of the island (the side facing the main Terminus Island). Look up towards a Crab Trap that lies at the top of the rock formation & throw your Projectile at it.
- A group of small crabs will spawn Infront of you. Interact with them & the game will commence. You will be given a baseball bat & a whack-a-mole minigame will play for 30 seconds. Your goal? Simple. Hit as many crabs as possible!
- If you hit a high enough amount, a random Free Perk Can will pop out from the ground as your reward. It may be a perk you already have, so you can share it if playing with friends. Be warned though, as too low of an amount can lead to a handful of grenades thrown your way!
However, there are 3 more Whack-A-Crab minigames you can interact with. Head to the left along the path & you’ll find the other set of crabs. Head a little further down to the shore & find the 3rd set. For the final set of crabs, take the right path instead of the left. Repeat the process, hit as many as you can, & claim your rewards. Completion of the second minigame will award you with Essence, & the third will give you a free Weapon.
Free Perk
Scattered around the main island of Terminus are smaller rock formations/islands. One of these islands will randomly have spores on them. These spores are reminiscent of the ones from Zetsubou No Shima, or MWZ.
Upon shooting these spores, it will spawn a Parasite for you to kill. Once all the spores & parasites have been dealt with, there will be a noticeable audio cue.
*(You must progress a round for the spores to spawn on another island.) Repeat this step roughly 3-4 more times on other islands. Once they’ve all been destroyed, head to either the Sea Caves or Mining Caves & destroy a few more spores. After dealing with the final spores, you will receive a Free Perk Power Up!
2nd Free Perk
Within the Biolabs, there are prison cells lining a wall. These are located behind water stasis chambers. Given you’ve done the Spores Easter Egg, maybe this will be your second free perk. Maybe you’re working on both at the same time?
- For the first go-around, there will be zombies trapped inside of these cells. Kill all of them & proceed on to the next round.
- During the following round, Vermin will spawn inside the cells. Go ahead & kill them, then progress on & finish the round out.
- For the next round, the final enemy type will spawn in the cells, Manglers. Sometimes it’s 2, other times it may only be one. Kill the Mangler(s). After doing so, you as well as every player in the game will receive a Free Perk Power Up!
3rd Free Perk
If you’ve been around the outer islands of Terminus, you may have spotted loot chests underwater. Usually, these chests are on the banks leading up onto the island. You’ll receive random loot rewards for interacting with these chests. You can even earn a Ray Gun from them. If you loot every single one of the chests, you’ll earn yourself & any other player a Free Perk Power Up!
Free Loot &/or Perkaholic
Similar to how you obtain the red fish to cook, you’ll want to go around the map & throw either stuns or grenades at red fish you find. Upon their demise, the fish will present you with different loot, essence, salvage, Aether tools, & it’s possible to obtain a Perkaholic. While there appears to be no clear method to earn the Perkaholic at this time, some have suggested a certain number of fish need to be taken out to trigger it. It could just be purely luck based however.
Jumpscare Elevator
After turning on the power for the entire Island, head back to spawn & take the elevator down. After the doors close, begin jumping up & down. You’ll be treated to a ghastly sight of zombie clusters on the walls around you. The lights going on & off as you descend. A small but haunting easter egg inside Terminus.
Oxygen Mask
On the sea floor in the Biolabs, there’s a specific rock you can find. It’ll be close to the railing the PAP platform uses to move on. This rock holds an oxygen mask underneath it. To gain access to it, you’ll want to use an explosive on the rock. A flurry of bubbles will erupt & the oxygen mask/tank will emerge. This oxygen mask/tank will buff the amount of time you can be underwater.
Mega Stuffy
Ever wanted a big flying plushie to aid you in battle? Follow these steps & you may achieve it!
Collecting Plushies
Hold your interact key to collect all the plushies scattered around the map in various locations:
- One plushie hides within a locker located by the Stamina Up Machine.
- One is hidden behind a light on Crab Island.
- Another sits in the Biolabs near the workshop table.
- Over on the Shipwreck, you can find one inside of the red metal container, right next to the Mystery Box spawn.
- There is one sitting in a corner within the Mining Tunnels.
- The final one peaks out behind the fence corner right outside of Engineering. This is on the path to the Sea Tower.
Inside a locker to the left of Stamina-Up. 
Behind a light on Crab Island. 
In the Biolabs, in the work area to the left of the crafting bench. 
In the red metal container on the Shipwreck. 
In a corner to the left of the Mister Peeks Machine, in the Mining Tunnels. 
Right outside of Engineering, behind a fence. 
After collecting them all, they’ll come together to form.. 
THE MEGA-STUFFY!
After collecting all the plushies, go to the Living Quarters & interact any of the plushies within the room. They will all drop a random piece of loot, & then combine into the Mega Stuffy! This Mega Stuffy will fly around, shoot at zombies, & will revive you if you go down.
Meteor Crash
Grab “Dead Wire” from an Arsenal machine & head over to the Dark Aether AA Gun Trap. Activate the trap & wait for it to finish. After doing so, go over to the “Storage Area” & direct your attention to an antenna tower that stands above the “Interrogations” area (The same room with Quick Revive). There will be a blue light on the antenna you must shoot with your Dead Wire weapon until it turns red.
After shooting the first antenna, quickly make your way over to the outside area “Engineering”. There will be another antenna tower above the “Communications” & “Engineering” buildings. This antenna will also have a blue light you’ll want to shoot with the same weapon until it’s red.
After both are lit up red, head back to the AA Gun trap & activate it. If done correctly, you should see the AA Gun hit something & cause an explosion in the sky. A meteor will the crash land onto Rock Castle Island.
This meteor crash site will contain various kinds of loot, including:
- Essence
- Weapons
- Ammo Mods
- Wonder Weapons
- Killstreaks
- Salvage
