SAVE & QUIT FEATURE
As many of you may know, you can now save & quit any solo match of Black Ops 6 Zombies. This is a long requested feature that’s finally making it’s debut; do you know what exactly saves when you quit however?
- SAVE & QUIT DETAILS
- Solo Only
- You can only have 1 solo match saved at a time
- Temporary save is created at the end of every round
- Easter Egg Quest status, Pack-A-Punch level, armor, weapon rarity, gobblegums, etc, will be saved and returned when you resume the match
- Specifies what save file is loaded
- MUST be at FULL HEALTH enable to save the game
- Leaderboards Acknowledgement
These details are very important to acknowledge before playing any match of Black Ops 6 Zombies solo, so let’s break down each detail:
- Solo ONLY
- Obviously, you can only use this feature in a Solo Match.
- Only 1 Saved Match At A Time
- You cannot have multiple saves. This also means you cannot have a save slot for each map. There’s only ONE save slot across all maps combined.
- Temporary Save At The End Of Each Round
- Whenever you finish a round, the match will create a temporary save. This is to ensure you can come back to this point automatically, even if you disconnect from online services.
- Everything Saves
- When you use Save & Quit, your entire match can be resumed exactly how you left it.
- Specifies What Is Saved
- In the Zombies Menu, your save file will let you know what round you left on and on what map.
- Full Health To Save
- To ensure the Save & Quit feature can’t be exploited, you can ONLY save when at full health. Not when you’re downed or are actively engaged with an exfil.
- Leaderboards
- On the Black Ops 6 Zombies Leaderboards, you can see if a high round was achieved using the Save & Quit function! This adds a new category for high round world records.
QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES
As per usual in a new Zombies iteration, there are some quality of life changes that will greatly improve the overall experience in Call of Duty Zombies.
- Rejoin Friends, Always
- Unlike prior iterations, you can now join your friends no matter how far into the quest they are, or what round they’re currently on!
- Voting System
- Whenever another player joins your match, you and any other players get the option to vote to allow that player to join, or deny them access.
- Quest Finished? Keep Playing… If You Want
- Unlike Cold War Zombies and Black Ops 4, you will get the option to continue playing after you’ve completed the Easter Egg Quest if you so choose!
- Bro, Buy The Other Half Of The Door!
- Not enough points to buy the next door? Players can now split the cost of doors. Your efforts will also be shared via a new scoreboard statistic for doors bought.
- Personal Zombie Loot
- Zombie Loot (Armor, Salvage, Etc) are now player specific and not shared. No more devious loot goblins.
- Quick & Easy Pack-A-Punch
- There will no longer be a Pack-A-Punch menu when purchasing the PAP Machine. Once purchased, your weapon will IMMEDIATELY be upgraded!
- Dude, Where’s My Ammo Mods?
- Ammo Mods and Weapon Rarities have moved to a new machine called the Arsenal!
- Get Ya’ Armor Here
- Armor Vests are now available through a Wall-buy. The Armor Station is gone.
- Ray Gun Buff
- The Ray Gun has been made better… again.
- Equip It Yourself
- Armor must now be equipped manually like in Modern Warfare Zombies rather than automatically like in Cold War.
- We Do It Together
- The Trial Station returns, but the trial progress is shared between the team.
- WHY ARE THEY SO DIFFICULT?
- The Frequency for Zombie Difficulty is as follows:
- Zombies increased swiftness
- Hordes are larger
- Super Sprinters
- Armored and Heavy Zombies are more common
- Round Cap is now 935 (up from 255 in Cold War)
- THREE Self Revives ONLY on Solo
- The Frequency for Zombie Difficulty is as follows:

- Whenever you die in Black Ops 6 Zombies, you’ll now get an outro cutscene of the Zombies surrounding the player as a Game Over.

LOADOUTS
As you may know, Loadouts return from Cold War Zombies. However, there’s new aspects to this idea:
- Starting Weapons
- You can spawn in with ANY gun from the Black Ops 6 catalog. You can customize this with whatever attachment and camo you’d like!
- But I Want That One
- The Weapon Kit System from Black Ops 3 is returning in the from of Zombies Loadouts. Before starting a match, you can customize EVERY weapon to have whatever attachments and camo you could dream of, and then once you find that weapon in game, you will obtain your custom build!
- That’s Not A Knife, This Is A Mastercraft Knife!
- Just like Multiplayer, there’s also a dedicated melee weapon slot, so you can always choose to pull out a melee weapon at any point!
- Fine, I’ll Craft It Myself
- Killing a Mangler will allow you to potentially use it’s Arm Cannon against the Zombies, however, you can just craft one at the Crafting Station.
It’s unknown if you can purchase a Bowie Knife and pull it out like a regular melee, but it’s an expected feature since the Bowie Knife is returning.
MORE REWARDS THAN EVER
In Black Ops 6 Zombies, you can earn more rewards than ever by either simply playing the game, or by completing the Easter Egg Quest:
- Gobblegums For Everyone!
- Every time a round passes, you have a chance to earn a Gobblegum.
- Easter Egg Rewards
- Each map has a “set” of Easter Egg rewards. It’s unknown if you earn these by completing the Easter Egg multiple times, but some of the rewards can be:
- Wonder Weapon Skin
- Calling Card
- Emblem
- & more!
