RELEASE DATE & DOWNLOAD
Based off the in-game battle pass timer, Season 5 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone will begin on Wednesday, August 21st. The classified battlepass sector typically contains a new DLC weapon and various reward challenges, which to date has only been opened on the launch of a reloaded update.
The preload for Season 5 Reloaded will go live soon on Battlenet, while it’s expected to roll out on other platforms with the Wednesday August 21st launch. Season 5 Reloaded will likely be around 20GB in size.
MULTIPLAYER CONTENT
As it stands, MW3 Season 5 Reloaded will feature one cel shaded map for Multiplayer. Season 5 already kicked off with two original maps and a few cel shaded variants which have been well received by the Multiplayer community.

MW3 Season 5 Reloaded Game Modes
Fishfection – Avoid the hook in this slippery twist on Infected. Equipped with only the Compound Bow and Spear as your weapons in Fishfection, where it’s your goal to prevent getting eliminated by a bloodthirsty school of Fish Operators composed of previously fallen players.
Paintball – We’re going painting! Paintball, played predominantly on small maps and in modes like Capture the Flag and Kill Confirmed, gives players increased movement abilities for the duration of the Mode and replaces all bullet impacts with paint splatters. That means every weapon is a one-shot kill, so take cover behind a bunker of choice and get ready for some quick-action painting.
Defuse or Destroy – Expect an explosive twist on Search & Destroy at mid-season too! In this round-based objective mode, teams take turns attacking and defending bomb sites. The twist? This mode’s rounds start with a bomb already planted in one of two possible locations, putting a literal ticking time bomb into play as teams alternate to defend and defuse.
ZOMBIES CONTENT
The season 5 update is the conclusion to the MW3 Zombies Story. One final Dark Aether rift, a boss fight against the entity and another set of schematics are dropping with Season 5.

Wildlife Most Wanted Field Rep (Mid-Season)
Activation Dates: September 4 – September 12
Play and earn an additional XP boost by equipping any of the Animal Head bundle. Play and earn XP to unlock rewards.
Emotional Overdrive Field Rep (Mid-Season)
Activation Dates: September 12 – September 18
Play and earn additional XP boost by equipping the new Emoji bundle. Play and earn XP to unlock rewards.
UPCOMING WEAPONS
The Spear (Classified Sector)
Season 5 Reloaded will see the opening of the classified sector in the battlepass, as per usual. Four challenges must be completed in order to unlock the HVT, which will contain a fifth and final challenge that allows players to earn the new Spear melee weapon.

Last seen in Call of Duty Mobile and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies. Melee weapon that’s also throwable.
Torque 35 Launcher (Weekly Unlock)

A Torque 35 launcher that’s been leaked since Season 1 is finally releasing with the mid season 5 update. This weapon is tied to the Week 5 challenge unlock, as there’s only enough Aftermarket parts for 6 weeks, and a blueprint / camo reward for week 8.

JAK DEATHMARCH (BAL-27 ASSAULT RIFLE | MW3)
This Aftermarket Part replaces standard ammo with high-voltage power cells and the barrel with a photonic scatter barrel. Fire a spread of lethal laser blasts that take down enemies at short range.
JAK DEVASTATORS (RECLAIMER 18 | MW3)
Dual-wield Reclaimer 18 Shotguns and become a mobile artillery barrage with this Aftermarket Part. Accuracy and recoil control are minimal, but destruction is maximized.

Season 5 has offered a healthy content drop for Warzone, specifically for big map Battle Royale, but there’s a few updates left that fans are excited about
