Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is rumored to release on Wednesday, February 7th. MW3 Zombies Season 02 will feature new content, schematics and missions. Season Two for MW3 Zombies will release alongside the content updates for Multiplayer and Warzone. Here’s everything we know about MWIII Season 02 Zombies:
MW3 ZOMBIES SEASON 2 START TIMES & DOWNLOAD
Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 will launch on February 7th for ALL platforms! Expect all zombies content to become playable at 9am PT, 11am CT, and 12pm EST.
NEW SCHEMATICS AND ACQUISITIONS
MWZ will get new acquisitions and schematics to find within Season 2! Leakers have claimed fans will discover schematics for the Blood Burner Aether Bike and the new V-R11 wonder weapon throughout the second season of MW3.
Previously, new schematics were added in Season 1 via the Red Worm and Dark Aether reward rifts. It’s likely that a new quest or boss will be added in to compensate players with the new schematics in MW3 Zombies.
CONTAINMENT LEVEL EXFIL STREAKS
Last seen in DMZ via Exfil streaks, players will be able to spawn in with various benefits depending on how many successful matches they’ve played. For MWZ, players will need to complete contracts and successfully exfil to track the completions towards their containment levels.
All containment level rewards in MW3 Zombies have been leaked out to be:
- Start With 500 Essence – Complete Two Contracts
- Start With 5 Armor Plates – Complete 5 Contracts
- Start With 1000 Essence – Complete 8 Contracts
- 30% Off Perk Machine Cost – Complete 12 Contracts
- Start With 1500 Essence – Complete 20 Contracts
- Increase Contract Payout – Complete 30 Contracts
- Start With 2500 Essence – Complete 40 Contracts
- 50% Off Mystery Box Cost – Complete 50 Contracts
- Start With 5000 Essence – Complete 75 Contracts
- 20% Off Pack A Punch Cost – Complete 100 Contracts
NEW WARLORD BOSSES
Several new Fortress Warlords were discovered for MW3 Zombies that may be added throughout the duration of Season 2. Treyarch recently confirmed that Warlords will be on a rotation cycle, meaning players will see a different one spawn in their match of MWZ throughout each match they play.
The leaked Warlord boss names include:
- Keres
- Rainmaker
- Garid
- Archangel
- Bronco
- Ursa
- Kolenske
- Sokolov
- Payback
ACT 4 MISSIONS & OBJECTIVES
At the start of Season 1, Treyarch quietly confirmed on Reddit that ACT 4 would be receiving new missions throughout the post launch season of MW3 Zombies. Various activities and potential ACT 4 missions have already leaked for MWZ, which include:
- Summon –
- Turret Defend –
- Relic Hunt –
- Survive –
- Go to Fletcher’s last known location
- Investigate the source of the signal disruption
- Eliminate the source of the signal disruption
- Investigate the nearby distress signal
- Defend the remaining survivors until the ACV is ready
NEW FEATURES & GAMEPLAY OVERHAUL
New strings were discovered within MWZ, which reflect all new gameplay features coming to the mode in a feature season. Most of these features have been seen in either Warzone or DMZ, while others are completely exclusive to MW3 Zombies:
- Dead Drop Locker
- Exfil Balloon
- Citadel
- Portable Buy
- Weapons Locker
- Defib Machine
- Decontamination Station
- Blacksites
- ATMs
UPCOMING MWZ PERKS
Prior to the launch of Season 1 Reloaded, rumors circulated regarding upcoming perks inside of MW3 Zombies. Mule Kick was amongst one of the first perks leaked, which may serve as the only backpack upgrade inside of MWZ.
The collectors of edition of MW3 at Walmart features an updated Widows Wine icon on the box, which fans speculate to be an upcoming add on. Electric cherry has seemingly been rumored following the recent datamine of the mid season one update as well.
