Call of Duty Season 2 is ending off on a bang with three NEW Ghost event skins that can be unlocked for MW3, Warzone and Warzone Mobile. Players can unlock new Ghost variant skins for pre registering in Warzone Mobile and completing challenges in the Operation Day Zero challenge event. Here’s how to unlock the three new Ghost event skins for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Mobile:
WHICH GAMES WILL THESE SKINS RELEASE IN
Amidst all of the marketing for MW3 content and the launch of Warzone Mobile, players have become confused with which content is transferable amongst all three titles.
As a reminder, all content inside Warzone Mobile will have a tag next to it, indicating which game the cosmetic can be used in.
- Condemned Ghost – For Use in MW2, MW3, Warzone, Warzone Mobile
- Golden Phantom – For Use in MW3, Warzone, Warzone Mobile
- Bloody Reaper – For Use in Warzone Mobile

HOW TO UNLOCK CONDEMNED GHOST
The long awaited Condemned Ghost skin is a reward for pre registering within Warzone Mobile. On IOS, players are able to pre register by hitting “get notified” in the App Store, while on Google Play the option is also on the game’s store listing.
In order for players to claim their pre registration rewards, they must head to the item shop within Warzone Mobile and select “Day Zero” to get a download prompt.
Apart from Condemned Ghost, additional pre registration rewards include:
- Vinyl – Foes Flame Emblem
- Blueprint – X12 Prince of Hell
- Blueprint – M4 Archfiend
- Multiplayer Map – Shoothouse
- Resurgence Map – Rebirth Island
HOW TO UNLOCK GOLDEN PHANTOM
The next two skins are available via the Operation Day Zero challenge event, which begins on March 22nd and ends on April 3rd. Golden Phantom is a gold variant of Condemned Ghost, which can be unlocked through the community part of the event.
Call of Duty’s community needs to hit specific milestones in the Day Zero event, which requires players to perform specific actions while in select zones of Verdansk, or the entirety of Rebirth Island. Getting kills in WZM Multiplayer will also earn players event points (EP) which are needed to unlock Phantom Ghost.
Players will need to open a supply box, eliminate operators, complete contracts, use killstreaks, get headshots and purchase items from a buy station within a specific zone on Verdansk, or the entirety of Rebirth Island, depending on where the event tab tells us to go.
It’s expected that a new zone will open up every other day, depending on how fast the community clears the specific milestones. All Golden Phantom rewards are as follows:
- “Gilded Devil King” Large Decal: Clear Zone 1
- “Scorched Beginnings” Animated Calling Card: Clear Zone 2
- “Golden Blaze” Emblem: Clear Zone 3
- “Golden Flame” X12 Weapon Blueprint: Clear Zone 4
- “Heavy Thunder” M4 Weapon Blueprint: Clear Zone 5
- “Golden Phantom” Ghost Operator Skin: Clear Zone 6
HOW TO UNLOCK BLOODY REAPER
Lastly, a red variant of the Condemned Ghost skin will release as part of the individual part of the challenge event. For the first time in a community challenge event, a player’s individual contributions will also reward them with various unlocks.
Warzone Mobile is essentially receiving two different challenge events during Operation Day Zero. The individual rewards for performing the zone actions mentioned above do include:
- “Nightmare Rift” Calling Card – 6,000 Event Points
- “Crimson Blaze” Emblem – 20,000 Event Points
- “Tearing Me Apart” Sticker – 40,000 Event Points
- “Forsaken Past” Emblem – 60,000 Event Points
- “Demon’s Claw” Combat Knife Weapon Blueprint – 80,000 Event Points
- “Last Word” Charm – 100,000 Event Points
- “Hell Scrapper” LTV Vehicle Skin – 120,000 Event Points
- “Nightmare Inferno” Large Decal – 140,000 Event Points
- “Crimson Prince” X12 Weapon Blueprint – 160,000 Events Points – 200,000 Event Points
- “Raging Blaze” M4 Weapon Blueprint – 250,000 Event Points
- “Bloody Reaper” Ghost Operator – 300,000 Event Points

Warzone Mobile globally launches on Thursday, March 21st while the Day Zero event begins just a day later, allowing players to start earning progress towards the two event skins.
