Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will release worldwide on March 21st, 2024 at 12pm Central US. With the release of Warzone Mobile comes the return of fan-favorite map Verdansk, Multiplayer maps, and a Carry Forward Feature for most of your MW3 and MW2 loot! Enable to use your Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare 2 loot in Warzone Mobile, you’ll have to link your Call of Duty Account. Today, we are going to explain everything you need to know from iOS users to Android. Are you ready to play Warzone Mobile? Here’s what you need to know:
LOGIN PROMPT
Off the bat after downloading Warzone Mobile, you will be prompted to either login, or to use a Guest Account. You must login to your Call of Duty account to link Modern Warfare 3 and regular Warzone to your Warzone Mobile app.
If you don’t link your account on first login, you’ll have to uninstall Warzone Mobile and reinstall the application. The process for logging in is super simple and easy. Below is a quote from the recent blog post that runs you through the process:
“If you already play Call of Duty on PlayStation®, Xbox, BattleNet, or Steam and access your Call of Duty Activision ID using these authentication options, be sure you log into your Profile Page on the Call of Duty website here. Then follow the instructions, logging in, entering your password for your Call of Duty Activision ID (ATVI account). Then use those details to log into Warzone Mobile.”

iOS PRE-RELEASE PLAYERS
For those iOS players that were playing during the pre-release of Warzone Mobile; you will have to install the worldwide version of the application from your respective app store enable to keep playing. Everything will transfer over and you will be allowed to link to your regular Call of Duty account as well!
- Use a Call of Duty Activision ID account as your primary login
- Upgrade your Guest Account to your Call of Duty Account (found via Upgrade Account in-game).
- For those only using Guest Accounts and not upgrading, make sure you have logged in once on the most recent iOS version of the Limited Release build once before switching over to the new build.
ANDROID PLAYERS
Good news for all of you Android players; you won’t have to change applications! The game will have an update that will change the application to the worldwide version! If you have auto-updates off, go to your respective app store and update Warzone Mobile!
CONTENT TRANSFER (CROSS PROGRESSION)
Upon logging into your Call of Duty account within Warzone Mobile, any progress earned while playing will immediately transfer into Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Player level, weapon progression and battlepass completion will be shared so long as the player is logged into the same Call of Duty account.
As confirmed in the recent Warzone Mobile blogpost, select content and rewards earned on the go will be exclusive to the handheld experience and won’t transfer to MW3 if there’s a “Designed for WZM” tag next to it.
