There are new weapons coming to Modern Warfare II Season 6! Want to know what the new weapons are coming to Modern Warfare 2 Season 6 and unlock them for use in MW2? Season 6 of MWII is looking FANTASTIC already! You can unlock most of these weapons once Season 6 launches on September 27th at 12Pm EDT. Here’s what you need to know:
BATTLE PASS WEAPONS
There will be 3 weapons tied to the Battle Pass tiers! These weapons will be assessable at the launch of Season 6:
- TR-76 Geist – Assault Rifle
- ISO 9mm – SMG
- Dual Kamas – Melee
TR-76 GEIST | ASSAULT RIFLE
“A hard-hitting bullpup assault rifle chambered in 7.62 x 39 mm. Highly modular, this weapon system can be adapted to fit a wide range of tactics and combat scenarios.“

It’s always a treat to have a new Assault Rifle. This one has similar looks to the MTAR from MW2 (2009). I wonder how it will play in both MP and Warzone.
ISO 9mm | SMG
“Sweep the battlefield clean with the high fire rate, maneuverability, and exceptional steadiness of this 9mm SMG.“

We have another ISO SMG. This is a returning favorite from MW2019, and is sure to either be fun, busted, or both! You can put a 50 round mag on it, so it’s very viable.

I love a good looking melee. Imagine if the Scythe from Black Ops Cold War and the Dual Kodachis had a baby. You’d get this beautiful killing-machine as a result. Can’t wait to see this with the Orion camo!

DOOM Chainsaw | MELEE
“A chainsaw that tore through Hell.“

The DOOM Chainsaw will be available to purchase via the DOOM bundle. The Call of Duty Blog states that this is to be considered a “variant” of the Pickaxe, but doesn’t state if it’s just a blueprint, or it’s own weapon. Considering Ash Williams from Evil Dead 2 is coming as a bundle, don’t be surprised if you see his bundle including a chainsaw!
UNANNOUNCED DLC WEAPON
BRUEN MK9 | Light Machine Gun
Following the launch of Season 5 reloaded, dataminers reported that the Bruen MK9 from MW2019 was set to return. It’s possible that the weapon will be announced closer to the Haunting event in October, or will be put in a classified battle pass sector later this season. Modern Warfare 2 didn’t receive a single post launch LMG, so the release of the Bruen would make sense.
