With the release of Season 2 comes a new way to win MW3 Warzone matches! The new Covert Exfil feature will bring a new outcome to Modern Warfare 3 Warzone matches that are alternatives to winning or dying! Today, we will tell you about the new Covert Exfil feature and inform you on how it works, how to obtain it, and more of it’s features in MWIII Warzone! Ready to learn about the new addition coming to Season 2 of Modern Warfare III Warzone? Here’s what you need to know:
WHAT IS A COVERT EXFIL?
The new Covert Exfil option is a new way to end a game of Warzone without winning or dying. Every squad will have the ability to purchase a Covert Exfil at a Buy Station for a “high price”. There will only be FIVE Covert Exfils available to purchase per match (five for the entire lobby, not per squad), and they will be unpurchaseable once the Gulag closes.
The Covert Exfil will call in a special helicopter that can fly any squad out of the match. This will be especially useful for the squads that are trying to obtain the NEW Warzone Weapon Case, which you can learn more about here! Covert Exfils WILL NOT count as a win on the leaderboards. Instead, there will be a new category for Covert Exfils on the leaderboard; this also means Covert Exfils WILL NOT count towards the Champion’s Quest challenge.
HOW TO UNLOCK A COVERT EXFIL
The new covert exfil option is only available in Battle Royale Preview, an LTM that also contains the weapon case. Players will need to save a total of $30,000 to purchase a Covert Exfil from a buy station, or portable buy station before the gulag closes. Upon purchase, there will be a 60 second countdown to reach the evac chopper, in which the chopper will instantly depart upon players entering the chopper.
After completing a covert exfil, players will have the option to spectate their teammates who are left in match, or can back out to the menu. You don’t NEED to have a weapon case to covert exfil, but will likely only use the feature when in possession of one. Covert Exfils can also be purchased for a discounted price during a fire sale.
