HOW TO COMPLETE THE SECRET ROOM EASTER EGG | MODERN WARFARE 3 ZOMBIES

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies seems to continue the tradition of small easter eggs hidden inside of the new MW3 iteration. One of the newest hidden easter eggs is a vault that allows you to regain loot quickly during a match of MWIII Zombies! Super quick, super easy, and easy to repeat! Ready to learn this new hidden easter egg in Modern Warfare III Zombies? Here’s what you need to know:

SHAHIN MANOR VAULT

This easter egg pertains to the Shahir Manor Vault found in sector H7 of the Urzikstan map! Located downstairs in the manor, you’ll find a vault door that’s locked.

Next to it will be a chess board with 5 chess pieces on it; these correlate to a sector on the map, and a boss you’ll have to kill enable to turn on the lights above and unlock the vault door.

FIND THE PHONES

You’ll need to find phones around the map that will unlock the vault door. Luckily, the chess board next to the vault door tells you exactly where the bosses are:

You’ll now need to look at the tac-map and view it as an 8×8 map instead of the 9×9 map it actually is. meaning you’ll need to ignore sectors A, J, 0, and 9. Those are out of bounds and don’t count towards this map. This means your phones are located:

Sector D1
Sector I1
Sector C5
Sector H7

NOTE: You do NOT have to kill these bosses in any particular order.

THE KNIGHT – RAILROAD

There’s one chess piece that you’ll have to track down, The Knight. To find The Knight, you’ll have to look around the Urzikstan railroad tracks. He drives around in an armored truck in a counter clockwise formation ONLY on the railroad tracks, so keep going around until you catch up with him.

He typically is killed by players by random, so look out for his glowing phone too in case he’s already been taken care of. You can always check the lights above the vault door to see if he’s already been killed. Just keep track of which phones you’ve collected!

THE BISHOP – D1

Another chess piece (which is located in Sector D1) can be found in the tunnel. You will encounter the boss The Bishop. The Bishop will have other mercenary troops with him, so be careful.

Once you kill him, he will drop the phone that you’ll need to collect!

THE ROOK – C5

The Rook will be hidden in the lone building in Sector C5. It’s super easy to find considering it’s the only building in the entire sector!

You will need to enter the back of the building and make your way up the stairs, but be careful since it’ll have traps planted. Once you reach the top floor, you will be greeted by a Sentry Gun. Take out the Sentry Gun and enter the first room to the right; The Rook will be there.

Kill The Rook and take his phone!

THE SHACK – I1

In the top right corner of the map in Sector I1, there will be a lonely fishing hut.

After you enter the fishing hut, the phone will be on a box. Once you’ve collected the phone, you will be ambushed by a Disciple and some zombies. You can avoid them, or take them out.

SHAHIN MANOR – THE KING

Once you’ve collected all phones, you can make your way back to the manor. The quickest way back is through the portals you can find in certain areas.

You can find these portals:

Military Base
Bathroom
The Bishop Tunnel

There may be more locations, but these are the known ones. Once you’ve reached a portal, you’ll need 1000 Essence and to know the order of symbols you’ll have to shoot. Once you’ve shot the right symbols and purchased the portal, you and your team can jump in, and it’ll spawn you right next to the vault door!

If you’ve gotten all phones, the lights above the door should be all lit up, and the chess board pieces (except the King) will be knocked over. When prompted, unlock the vault door and open the chests; one of the chests will be a Mimic named The King. Kill him and you’ll have knocked down every chess piece on the board! You will be free to loot the rest of the room!
