Do Modern Warfare 3 XP Tokens Transfer to Black Ops 6 | How to Unlock

Fans of Carry Forward in Modern Warfare III have been curious as to whether XP Tokens transfer into Black Ops 6. Activision addressed this question in a recent statement to DETONATED, which finally puts the confusion to rest. As a reminder, Modern Warfare 3 content such as operators, blueprints and unlocks will be usable in Warzone even when Black Ops 6 integrates within Season 1.

The Warzone 1 XP Token Transfer

Back during the Warzone 1 era (Modern Warfare-Vanguard) fans discovered an exploit allowing them to pop a 2XP token in one game and embrace the XP bonus in another. XP tokens have never been transferable from premium title to premium title, but Warzone bridged the gap.

It’s unclear if a bug like this will exist for Black Ops 6, considering the unified engine the game shares with COD HQ titles (MWII & MWIII) but either way, an invisible timer would exist if 2XP or 2WXP tokens can be shared from game to game.

Activision Responds to DETONATED

I reached out to Activision for a comment since many of us creators forgot to ask at COD NEXT and the response was appreciated but controversial with the community to say the least.

Fans expressed their frustration since many folks are sitting on dozens if not hundreds of XP tokens in their Modern Warfare 3 inventory. Other players have argued that this is a good change to ensure MW3 players don’t have an XP advantage during the launch of Black Ops 6.

How to Get XP Tokens For Black Ops 6

As of now, these are the following methods to obtain XP tokens for Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies, which can also be used in Warzone.

  • Monster Energy Promo
  • Future Bundle Bonuses
  • Future Battlepass Rewards
  • Future Challenge Event Rewards
  • Walmart Enhanced XP Program (TBD)
  • TBD TBD TBD

THE END

That’s what we know so far about XP tokens within Black Ops 6. Stay tuned for further updates as they become available!
