How To Unlock All Freerun Ascent Rewards in Black Ops 7 (Ciphers, Speedrun, and Event)

With the launch of Season 3 Reloaded in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on April 30th, a new mode enters the fold, Freerun! This mode will be a crash course to test your abilities in combat, movement, equipment usage in Black Ops 7 Season 3 Reloaded. The Guild have constructed a tower for this mode specifically, for multiple players to race to the finish. There are multiple rewards you can earn in this mode as well, all unlocked under various unlock criteria. Today, we’re going over the new Freerun mode, as well as all rewards you can earn here in BO7. Here’s what you need to know:

Freerun Arrives in Black Ops 7 Season 3 Reloaded

The new Freerun mode will be played on the brand new map ‘Ascent’. This tower map will have 10 different zones to traverse through & overcome to reach the finish line. These zones will become increasingly difficult as you proceed through the course. The course will test your movement skills, combat skills, & even your use of in-game equipment like the Grapple Gun & Wingsuit.

The course will contain Wall Jump, spinning platforms, targets you just hit with weapons, low walls to make it under, & many more challenges. With up to 10 different players on one run at a time, players will have to be on their toes & at their best to ensure victory.

All Base Freerun Course Rewards

There are three separate rewards you can earn through various unlock criteria. From completion conditions or collection, there are different rewards to earn. Here is each reward you can unlock, as well as how to earn them inside of BO7 Freerun:

‘Scaled’ Weapon Camo & 1,000 XP
- Complete the Freerun: Ascent course three times.
‘Upswing’ Weapon Charm & 2,500 XP
- Collect all Ciphers in Freerun: Ascent.
‘Innovate’ Animated Weapon Camo & 5,000 XP
- Complete the Freerun: Ascent course in under 14 minutes, with fewer than 10 faults.

Freerun Ascent Challenge Event

While much isn’t know about this event at this time, what is known is that you’ll need to scale the Freerun tower as fast as possible. You’ll probably earn different rewards for faster times finished. There’s likely also various challenges you can complete within the course to complete.
