Black Ops 6 is soon to be fully revealed, but with only 2 days left, new reports state a fan favorite feature returning to BO6. Classic Prestige, last seen in 2018’s Black Ops 4, will make a return to Black Ops 6! Today, we will go over this returning feature along with a look back at how it used to work compared to now! Ready to learn more? Here’s what you need to know:
CLASSIC PRESTIGE
Just leaked recently, leakers have claimed Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature the Classic Prestige System we’ve last seen back in Black Ops 4.

“Classic Prestige Mode” is essentially another step in the overall progression last seen in Black Ops 4. Entering Prestige Mode resets players to Level 1 and relocks all of the Weapons, Lethal, Tacticals, Perks, Wildcards, Scorestreaks, and Specialist weapons and abilities obtained with Unlock Tokens. Also immediately after launch, players can start grinding to level thousand right off the rip.
NORMAL PRESTIGE SYSTEM
The prestige system we have now in MW3 is very different compared to the Classic Prestige System. You will automatically earn prestige ranks after reaching Level 55 in Multiplayer, Warzone, or MWZ. All future XP earned will go towards increasing your prestige, the same as Levels 1-55
REVEAL EVENT
With the Xbox Showcase + Black Ops 6 Direct event happening in just 2 days (06.09.2024), it’s possible we could see The Classic Prestige System being talked about, along with new features such as this new omni-directional movement, the return of Theatre Mode, and more!

WILL WE GET MORE PRESTIGES?
It’s definitely a possibility Treyarch adds more Prestiges throughout the post launch season just like we’ve seen getting 4 Prestiges per season since Black Ops Cold War up until now with MW3.
