Season 1 of Black Ops 7 has been estimated to release on December 4th. This first season of content drops roughly 3 weeks after the launch of BO7. The Story Headed into Astra Malorum

Following the events of Ashes of the Damned, our crews head to what appears to be this mysterious Dark Aether space station, known as Astra Malorum, or ‘Stars of Evil’. The goal of reclaiming their life essence has never been higher on the agenda. It’s unknown what horrors await our crew in this new location, but they’ll have to be ready.

While more information isn’t known at this time, we’ll be sure to update you & this article once more story details are revealed!

Potential Maps Coming Later in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Based on a report from Insider Gaming quite a while back, there was talk of potential maps coming in the Black Ops 7 Zombies timeline. One of the maps included in that report was a Dark Aether space station. This is likely what ‘Astra Malorum’ is meant to be. It also included the largest Round-Based map ever made. Several other locations mentioned were the following:

  • Vietnam
  • Afghanistan
  • A Japanese Temple at the base of a Volcano
  • Post-WW2 New York

Given what we know now about the multiverse variants (Richtofen, Takeo, Dempsey, & Nikolai) we meet in Ashes of the Damned, these seem more & more plausible of locations we’ll end up seeing in Black Ops 7 Zombies down the line.

Other Zombies Content in Black Ops 7 Season 1

There’s various other means of content for zombies fans with the launch of Season 1 in Black Ops 7 Zombies. Treyarch confirmed that there will be multiple holiday themed LTMs releasing during Season 1, potentially Jingle Hells. It was also confirmed that certain seasonal content from BO6 will be carrying forward into BO7 with Season 1. This content includes Light Mend (ammo mod), Mister Peeks (field upgrade), & Frost Blast (field upgrade).

As mentioned earlier, there will be a new survival map added on the launch of Season 1 for BO7 Zombies, as well as one later in-season. The Survival Map added on launch will be ‘Exit 115’. This is the classic diner from Tranzit or Ashes of the Damned. The following survival map will be Cosmodrome, a POI from Ashes of the Damned.
