Call to Duty: Black Ops 7 will release to the world on November 14th. However, Call of Duty fans who preorder BO7 will get their hands on the Early Access of the Black Ops 7 Beta, starting October 2nd. Zombies fans can get excited this year as for the First Time Ever, zombies are coming to the beta! OG Zombies fans may recognize the Survival map coming, as it’s a classic from BO2. Today, we’re going into everything we know about Vandorn Farm Survival, how to access it, its availability, & more! Here’s what you need to know:

How to Access Zombies in the Black Ops 7 Beta

A player holds a Ray Gun & gears up to face off against zombies & Zursa in Black Ops 7 Zombies.

For anyone wanting to access the Black Ops 7 Zombies Beta, you’ll need to preorder a copy of BO7 (Physically or Digitally) to obtain an early access code. You can also obtain an early access code by winning one from a giveaway done by various Call of Duty social media outlets. However, Zombies won’t be available Day One of the Beta.

Players will need to wait till October 3rd to gain access to the Zombies portion of the Beta. Vandorn Survival will launch on the second day of the Beta during the Early Access period. The recent blog from Treyarch indicate the map will be removed on October 7th.

Whatever the case, this gives both Early Access players & Open Beta players a chance to play Vandorn Survival! It is interesting that the Zombies portion won’t last till the end of the Beta. This seemingly means you’ll need to take advantage & play the mode while you can. It’s also worth noting that progress made in the Beta will not transfer over into the full release of Black Ops 7.

Zombies Survival: Vandorn Farm Explained

Zombies players will have their hands full on Vandorn Survival! For those who are unfamiliar, Survival is a confined play-space from a larger map. In this case, Vandorn Survival is a smaller portion of Ashes of the Damned. It functions seemingly the same as regular round-based with a few deviations. Pavements from the larger map will be different in the survival portion, but all necessities will be available.

Main quests, as well as side Easter eggs are all disabled in Survival mode. The main priority of this mode, is to gear up & survive as long as you can. Means of survival provides on Vandorn Survival include:

  • Various Perk Machines (including Der Wunderfizz)
  • The Pack-A-Punch Machine
  • The Mystery Box
  • Arsenal
  • Ammo Caches
  • Wall Buys

As stated earlier, OG players of Black Ops 2 Zombies may recognize this map as Farm from Tranzit. The map’s gotten a bit of a makeover but it’s still recognizable from the original. Vandorn Farm was owned by the Vandorn Family. They were a bit crazy & left a trail (or barn-full) of bodies in their wake. You can either go into the main home, the barn, or a few side buildings, with a main center area for kiting zombies.

Players will have to contend with the Undead hordes, as well as possibly the Ravagers & Zursa. However, seeing it’s a simple Survival map, it may just be limited to basic Zombies as the enemies. maybe armored zombies as well. Can expect to see the Ray Gun wonder weapon, possibly even the MK.II.

More to Look Forward to in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Players may be wondering why a smaller survival map is in the BO7 Beta, as opposed to the full map of Ashes of the Damned. Vandorn Farm Survival gives players a taste of what’s to come on the official of launch of Black Ops 7 Zombies. If the full map was available during the Beta, players would have explored the entirety of the map, & would burn out before the full lunch of the game.

By releasing the smaller map of Vandorn Farm, it gives players an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the gameplay, give a preview of the atmosphere of the full map, as well as keep an entire full-length experience for launch of Black Ops 7 Zombies.
