Nuketown is by far one of the most iconic maps in Black Ops History. Nuketown without a doubt will be returning inside of Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and today we will be breaking down the upcoming ‘Nuketown 2025’ experience officially teased by Treyarch releasing during the launch window of Black Ops 7! Here is what you need to know:
NUKETOWN 2025 OFFICALLY REVEALED
During the Black Ops 7 COD NEXT Broadcast, It was officially confirmed by Treyarch that, the Nuketown iteration from 2012’s Black Ops 2 will be getting a faithful remaster inside of Black Ops 7 Multiplayer.
This is exciting news considering this BO2 Iteration of Nuketown is arguably the most iconic one by Call of Duty fans.
ALL NUKETOWN VARIATIONS
in previous iterations of Nuketown in Black Ops Multiplayer, players have seen many different variants of Nuketown in the Black Ops Franchise with, 2 of them having a Zombies twist, one being a Soviet Russia Variant, one with a futuristic spin & with an Abandoned variant filled with Gratify.
WHEN WILL NUKETOWN 2025 RELEASE?
With 18 confirmed Multiplayer Maps releasing at the launch for BO7, Nuketown is definitely among the maps releasing at launch with the information we’ve received from Treyarch.
MANNEQUIN EASTER EGG POSSIBLE RETURN?
With every Nuketown iteration we have seen countless Easter Eggs added within each variant of the Map. It’s possible we will get another Mannequin Easter Egg within Nuketown 2025. In Black Ops 2’s Nuketown after shooting all mannequin heads around Nuketown it will unlock an Activision arcade machine where players could play old retro games
with the recent Nuketown inside of Black Ops 6, after shooting all the mannequin heads around the map it would trigger a “Signal Lost, Stand By” screen with alive Mannequins sitting and they would shortly after turn into Zombies and start chasing the player as well a retro filter activated with a 90’s-style jingle. It’s unclear what they could do if this easter egg returned in BO7, but it could be related to the futuristic era of the game.
