New Weapons
Dresden 9mm – SMG – On Launch

This all too familiar SMG returns to Call of Duty in Season 6 of Black Ops 6 & Warzone. That’s correct, iconic MP-40 returns to players hands in Season 6! It packs very high damage rates, with recoil that’s easier to manage. It does have its’ drawbacks however, which is a slower rate of fire & shorter range. Merrick 556 – Assault Rifle – On Launch

The Merrick 556 is a fully capable Assault Rifle, that packs a punch, especially if you aim high. It also holds excellent range for long distance engagements. Recoil can be helped to get under control with a few different attachment options such as the compensator muzzle. You’ll be able to unlock the Merrick 556 from either page 6 of the Battle Pass, or page 14 of the Battle Pass (Blueprint).
Chainsaw – Melee – In Season

Fans of DOOM or Texas Chainsaw Massacre may be getting flashbacks as the Chainsaw returns to Call of Duty. Last seen as a retro weapon in a DOOM Bundle back in MW3, you’ll be able to cut down your enemies with this hulking weapon. Slash & hack your way through anyone who stands in your way. You’ll be able to unlock the Chainsaw through the Chucky Event Pass later in Season 6.
X52 Resonator – Special Weapon – In Season

This mysterious weapon will appear in the hands of operators later on in Season 6. This anomaly will be able to be wielded as a Full-Auto special weapon. It will have a high fire-rate, & decent range. This however, will be countered by very high recoil & lower damage. Three separate shard attachments can enhance the weapon even further. These are the shards & their effects:
- Orbed Eruption
- This will provide the weapon with multi-shot.
- Spiked Barrage
- This will provide the weapon with a lethal 7-round burst, however it comes at the rate of speed.
- Stone Escalation
- This will enable you to perform a powerful charged shot from the weapon.
You’ll be able to unlock the X52 Resonator as an event reward later on in Season 6!
Weapon Attachments
GPR91 Double-Barrel Conversion – On Launch

This attachment will add an entire second barrel to the GPR 91. This will give it the double tap affect, firing two bullets at once. This comes at the cost of fire-rate & a higher recoil. You can unlock this attachment on page 7 of the Battle Pass.
GPMG-7 Muzzle Booster – In Season

The GPMG Muzzle Booster attachment will improve the LMG’s rate of fire a syou continue to fire the weapon. It will have the same effect on the bullet velocity. This will bring the drawback of higher recoil. You can unlock the attachment as an event reward later in Season 6.
New Operators Coming in Season 6
The Haunting in Season 6 of Black Ops 6 & Warzone brings some MASSIVE crossover operators this year, as well as a frightening new BlackCell Operator. Let’s take a look at each operator coming in Season 6:

New Multiplayer Modes
Slasher Deathmatch (Chucky & Jason) – On Launch LTM

Slasher Deathmatch will be an LTM where 2 of the 8 players will randomly be selected to wield the power of infamous slasher villains, and eliminate their opponents. Every match will last 4 rounds in total, & the two slashers will be chosen at the beginning of the game. The selection will cycle until all players have been chosen to be the slasher.
In either version of the LTM, Slashers will win based off of eliminating all survivors before the timer runs out. Similar to whistles in prop hunt, survivors will scream every 30 seconds. This will press players to stay on the move to hopefully survive to the end. Survivors can win if they’re able to survive till the end of the timer, or if they can eliminate all the slashers. Let’s take a look at each Slasher & their unique abilities:
Jason
- Rage Mode – Scorestreak
- Jason will gain immunity for a short amount of time to stuns, & survivors will have no detection of you until you’re near them. This rage mode will last only 5 short seconds, however will pause if in pursuit of a survivor.
- Teleport – Field Upgrade
- Jason will be teleported to an unexpecting & unfortunate survivor.
- Stalking – Passive Ability
- Jason will gain an frightening speed as survivors come into his line of sight.
- Loadout
- Jason’s loadout consists of his iconic Machete, as well as a combat axe.
Survivors – Jason Deathmatch
- Loadout
- Survivor loadouts will consist of no lethal weapons, & only a flashbang. The final survivor will be given a pickaxe to take out Jason.
Chucky
- Extra Lives
- Chucky has a total of six lives. Six different chances to eliminate survivors.
- Speed – Passive Ability
- This enables Chucky to move faster than the survivors.
- Loadout
- Similar to Jason, Slashers wield combat knives as well as a combat axe.
Survivors – Chucky Deathmatch
- Loadout
- Survivors will be given a shock charge, as well as a Molotov. These pieces of equipment will refresh over time. This refresh rate is faster than usual, & even quicker as the final survivor.

New Zombies Modes
Haunted Havoc – LTM – On Launch

Haunted Havoc has arrived in Black Ops 6 Zombies, & is bringing the heat! This LTM will prove to be a challenge even to the most experienced of Zombies players. Mimics are always on the prowl, Zombies are far more aggressive & faster due to a forced Rampage Inducer, & they will hit a lot harder, a lot faster. The Pumpkins adorning the undead heads will sometimes be dropped & can provide potentially powerful loot. These pumpkins can sometimes be mimics however, so stay alert.
Zombies health is reduced till round 15 for easier eliminations. As stated earlier though, their damage per hit will also begin to increase much faster as rounds progress.
This LTM will be available on all 6 round-based maps (Terminus, Liberty Falls, Citadelle Des Morts, The Tomb, Shattered Veil, & Reckoning). If you’re able to complete the Main Quest on each map in the LTM, you’ll be able to earn a set of 5 Gobblegums, an Ultra Gobblegum, & 15,000 XP per map.
New Gobblegum
Jacked Lanterns – Whimsical – On Launch

Jacked Lanterns will give zombies Pumpkin Heads, as well as make new & ominous sounds. It will last three minutes & will not be usable in the Haunted Havoc LTM. Zombies will have Pumpkin Heads by default in that LTM.
New Leaderboard Events
Extinction Protocol
This leaderboard event will center around getting kills while Field Upgrades are active, or by using scrorestreaks. The more kills you obtain under these stipulations, the better the leaderboard placement.
Death Pit
Players will be earning essence in the ‘Haunted Havoc’ LTM to climb this leaderboard event. Higher amounts of essence collected means higher board placement, & better rewards at the events end.
Extra event challenges can also be completed to not only improve your ranking on the board, but to also earn additional rewards.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 Content
New Map Variants
Verdansk Night (Variant) – On Launch

Players will have their hands full as they battle for that first place position under the ominous night sky in Verdansk Night. Keep your head on a swivel, as operators just may have found new ambush points in the newfound shadows.
Rebirth Island Night (Variant) – On Launch

Rebirth Island receives a chilling variation this time of year. Night falls over the prison island, & players will be tasked with facing their enemies in the eerie darkness. New vantage & assault positions may be uncovered in the dark of night.
New & Returning Modes
Zombie Royale – In Season
The ever-popular LTM Zombie Royale has returned to Warzone in The Haunting, however this time, the Zombies have gotten a bit of a boost. For those who may be new to the LTM, Zombie Royale allows slain players to return as zombies after elimination. You’ll then need to collect Anti-Vials scattered around the map to return to life. Your main objective is to return to the field as a living operator. However, collaborating with your living team to eliminate enemy players doesn’t hurt, does it?
At various intervals of the Zombie Royale game, what’s called an infestation will occur & will resurrect all fully eliminated players (eliminated as zombies) back as undead foes. The last squad remaining with a minimum of one living player alive will claim victory of the game! Let’s go over some of the new Abilities coming to the undead side of the operators:
Mimic
Similar to how you can transform into props in the mode Prop Hunt, zombies are able to take the shape of objects within the map. Once enemies approach, you can spring into action for a quick elimination.
EMP Blast
One trick to take out living operators is to disrupt their electronic devices. Using your EMP Blast, you’ll be able to deploy an area of effect & destroy their equipment, slow them down, & disable their vehicles. Once they’re on the ropes, launch your attack!
Mutant Injection
A rare drop from eliminated living players is the Mutant Injection. Any players who’ve played BO6 Zombies will recognize this Support Streak. Using the Mutant Injection will transform Zombies into a battle-hardened Mangler. The Mangler will be able to use a critical swipe attack, charged jump which will stun players near the landing point, & the infamous Mangler Cannon. *It is worth noting that the Mutant Injection will change throughout the Season, giving players even more horrors to eliminate living operators with.
Player-Wide Feature – Portals
Various portals will be placed all around Verdansk that will allow players to travel very large distances in seconds. These portals will work in different ways depending on who enters them. For Zombies, the portal will teleport players to enemy living operators who aren’t in their squad. For humans, they’ll be redeployed high in the air away from the undead masses.
Field Upgrade – Haunted Box
Haunted Boxes can be located either in random loot caches, or on fallen operators. These boxes can provide a myriad of helpful supplies, but on occasion can provide a scare along with those same supplies.
Casual Z – On Launch

In a Hunting Twist on Battle Royale Casual, as well as Resurgence Casual, Zombies have now infiltrated Warzone once again. Now players will have to contend with not only players & bots, but the undead as well. The Zombies are not to be taken lightly, as they can swarm players if a large enough horde is gathered. Keep your eyes peeled when engaging other players, as you both might have an unexpected third party creeping up.
