With the launch of Season 2 of MW3 came the return of the Warzone map Fortune’s Keep! The return of Warzone’s Fortune’s Keep in Modern Warfare III brought in new surprises and easter eggs that give you rewards usable in MWIII and Warzone. Today, we will tell you how to complete the Secret Vault Easter Egg in Fortune’s Keep using a step-by-step guide for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone! Here’s what you need to know:
THE THRONE ROOM
To start this Easter Egg, you’ll need to drop at the Keep POI and find the throne room located in the heart of the Keep. You’ll know you have the right room from the giant open design with a circular floor design and, obviously, the giant throne overlooking the door.
Approach one of the sides of the throne and interact with the torches on the wall. They will be lit; you’ll need to light both torches on each side of the throne (total of 2 torches in the Throne Room).
Once lit, jump on the throne and crouch. This will cue a noise and the floor design will start lowering into a staircase.
THE VAULT DOOR
Go downstairs through the newly opened staircase. Inside will be a room with a vault door in the center of the far wall. You will need to throw either a Molotov or a Thermite at the vault door. NOTE: There should be a Molotov or a Thermite in the room as ground loot, so if you don’t have one before you enter, don’t fret!
After throwing one of the items at the vault door, some of the small circles in the design of the door will light up fiery orange and some will stay dark. You will need to match the small circles on the door with the torches hanging on the walls around the room. If you need a way to remember them, think of it like this:
- Top 2 Small Circles on Vault Door = Two Torches Hanging Next to the Vault Door
- Follow the Torches around the room and match them with the Vault Door’s Small Circles going/looking in the clockwise direction
The small circles on the vault door that are lit up will correlate to the torches you’ll need to light around the room, and the small circles that are dark will correlate to the torches you’ll need to snuff around the room. If done correctly, the vault door will spew fire and open up! NOTE: If the small circles aren’t lit up after a while, you can re-light them by throwing another Molotov or Thermite at it!
THE VAULT ITSELF
The Vault will have tons of supply boxes, including favorite supply boxes that will grant you your favorited loadout weapons once opened. There is also a golden shotgun next to the door you can pick up and use if you wish!
NOTE: If you’re worried about encountering danger leaving the vault through the staircase; there’s a tunnel you can follow in the top right corner of the Vault Room. This path ONLY opens after the vault is unlocked, so you can leave away from prying eyes.
