With the release of Season 2 Reloaded comes a new boss to Modern Warfare 3 Zombies! Keres, derived from a skin in the Season 2 Battlepass will be Modern Warfare Zombies’ newest boss to defeat. Today, we are going to tell you where to find her, what defenses she has, and the rewards she gives in Modern Warfare III Zombies. We will also give you tips on how to defeat the new boss in MWIII Zombies! Ready to learn about MW3 Zombies’ newest addition? Here’s what you need to know:
NEW WARLORD – KERES
There’s a new boss on the Zombie-Infested Urzikstan: Keres. Players got their first look at the new warlord via the Season 2 Battlepass skin for Alpine. Keres has joined Terminus Outcomes and is stirring up trouble in the Orlov Military Base.
“She is known as a deadly and elusive chemical warfare specialist, and her defenses should be approached with extreme caution. Expect the exterior to be well-fortified with soldiers, snipers, turrets, and traps, as well as poison gas grenades. It would be wise to bring gas masks.”

Keres will be stationed within the Killhouse inside of the Orvlov Military Base. She will have poisonous smokescreens, traps, turrets, and snipers as her main defense. She will also be outfitted with Mercenaries, meaning you’ll need to put up a good fight to take her down. Make sure to bring Armor Plates, Self Revives, Death Perception (VERY IMPORTANT), and a Gas Mask.
HOW TO FIGHT KERES
After doing the usual routine of getting a Stronghold Keycard, you’ll need to make yourself to her fortress at the Orlov Military Base. You’ll know you’ve come to the right place when you pop-up shows up, or you’ll be shot at by MANY Sentry Guns, Elites, and Armored Mercenaries.
You’ll need to fight your way to the locked doors and use the keycard to enter. Once inside, you’ll be swallowed by toxic red gas. If you have a Gas Mask, it’ll be automatically equipped and will decay as if you’re in an Infected Stronghold. All enemies killed will drop an extra Gas Mask, so fear not!
It is incredibly hard to see below in the building, so Death Perception is a MUST for the gas will continue until you kill Keres. Stay up top on the catwalks and shoot down towards the enemies. There will be pieces of cover you can hide behind if you take too much damage. Be careful for enemies will go onto the catwalk! Death Perception will not only help you locate mercenaries, but can also help you locate Keres. She will have a distinct outline; Keres has a cape on. Kill her, and the gas stops.
ALL KERES REWARDS
Killing Keres will give you her MCW Blueprint she utilizes, and has the potential to give you more rewards such as a Wonder Weapon case! Not much, but it’s the usual for a Warlord.
Her MCW Blueprint is called Callous. In case you were curious: Callous means having an insensitive or cruel disregard for others… this is fitting considering Keres is named after the Greek Goddesses of Violent Death.
