ALL DARK AETHER KEY LOCATIONS & REWARDS

With a quick glance, here’s all a graphic showing all Dark Aether Key Locations and where to use the keys! All of these are in the SAME LOCATION every game, so memorizing the locations will be beneficial to do this passively during any match! Multiple keys exist for some of the same doors, as there are 2 doors requiring the same key, which offer different rewards.

Now, for an in-depth guide on each individual key location and door!

Al Bagra Munitions Storeroom Key

Make your way to the top of the second large pillar tower found near the middle building. To get here, it will require you to parkour on various vehicles in the sky. You can also find the “Al Bagra Officer Quarters” Key in the first pillar tower. The second large pillar is located just past the ambulance.

Another location for this key will be found in a warehouse. laying on a table, located on the west side of the Dark Aether map.

Once collected, make your way to the building right below the pillar tower near the middle of the map. You should see 2 locked cages by the stored cannons. One door typically has an insta-kill, while the other door has a chance of containing a wonder weapon case.

A.B.F Antiquities Office Key

To find this key, make your way to the south underground section of the map. There should be an Aether Tear in this room, the ‘A.B.F Antiquities Office Key’ will be found on a box in this room. It spawns here every game.

Then make your way to the main middle building, then going up the stair case from the bottom floor will take you to the locked door. You will get a guaranteed Full Power, and potentially a Scorcher Wonder Weapon Case!

Al Bagra Officers Quarters Key

This key can be found at the top of the first pillar tower found near the middle of the map. Parkour is required by jumping on a floating crane, the key will be sitting in the corner of this tower.

Another key can be found in an info booth found close to where you spawn in, sitting on a counter.

Once collected, take this key to the second level of the main building found in the middle of the map. You have the option of a Max Ammo or Wonder Weapon Case, either collect both keys or choose wisely. NOTE: The Weapon Case doesn’t always spawn in this location.

Al Bagra Barrack Key

This key can be found on the right side of the map, in the middle apartment building one the bottom floor on a desk.

Once collected, make your way to the Al Bagra Barracks found on the right side of the fortress on the bottom floor. Enjoy a free Full Armour Powerup!

South Al Bagra Top Floor Bedroom Key

Strangely, two other key spawns were discovered in the Dark Aether. Both were located underground, near the Infected Stronghold. One of the keys is only visible in the ACT 4 story mission, where no other key is obtainable as the secret rooms are already open, while the other key CAN be found in a normal Dark Aether run but is for Officer Quarters instead of the bedroom.

Even after hours of hunting, it’s unknown if there’s additional key spawns that haven’t been found. It’s unlikely there’s any more key locations for the secret doors listed above. There’s no reason why a key should spawn in the ACT 4 story mission, but not in the same location during a regular Dark Aether run.

Either there’s three keys for Officer Quarters despite there only being two rooms, or this key is meant to be for the bedroom, which is currently bugged. One of the two infested stronghold key locations may be for the bedroom, which has the chance of having a wonder weapon case just behind it.
