MW3 THE BOYS: SUPE TAKEDOWN EVENT CHALLENGES & REWARDS | SEASON 1 RELOADED

Call of Duty has collaborated once again with “The Boys” during the Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded. The new MW3 event for The Boys is titled “Supe Takedown” and tasks players with using the Blacklight Flashlight gear to unlock free rewards. An exclusive mode in MWIII named “Supe’d Up” also puts a spin on Kill Confirmed and allows players to use superpowers in Multiplayer. Here’s how to unlock a free camo and use the Blacklight Flashlight in The Boys event for Modern Warfare III Season 01 Reloaded:

NEW SUPE’D UP MULTIPLAYER MODE

The new Supe’d Up LTM for Modern Warfare 3 puts a spin on Kill Confirmed, where fallen Operators drop doses of Temp V, giving temporary super powers like Heat Vision and Electrical Discharge. Picking up Temp V grants the following bonuses in the order:

1 Vial – Durability

2 Vials – Super Speed

3 Vials – Strength

4 Vials – Electrical Discharge

5 Vials – Laser Vision

NEW SUPE TAKEDOWN CHALLENGE EVENT

Unlike the diabolical camo unlocks for the MW2 collaboration last year, this new crossover will bring forth a new challenge event featuring a number of free cosmetics players can earn. The six challenges and rewards for MW3 Multiplayer and Warzone include:

Get 3 Operator Kills Without Reloading 7 Times in MP or Get 7 Kills While Prone in Warzone (Reward: Calling Card).
Kill 5 Operators Affected By Electric Shock in The Boys Mode or Get 10 Kills With SMGs in Warzone (Reward: Emblem).
Get 10 Operator Tac Stance Kills Using The KVD Enforcer in MP or 5 Operator Tac Stance Kills With Shotguns in Warzone (Reward: Battle Pass Tier Skip).
Collect 25 Temp V Syringes in The Boys Mode or Complete 7 Contracts in Warzone (Reward: Large Decal).
Get 25 Operator Melee Kills With The Blacklight Flashlight Gear Equipped or Get 7 Operator Kills While Prone in Warzone (Reward: Weapon Charm).
Win 7 Games of The Boys Mode in MP or Place in The Top 10, 3 Times in Warzone (Reward: Double XP Token).

MASTERY REWARD

Complete all six challenges to earn the “Death to Supes” universal camo for all weapons available in Modern Warfare 3. The camo isn’t animated but wasn’t previously leaked and does blend well with a number of weapons.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SUPE SIEGE EVENT

Within the Season 1 Reloaded blogpost and patch notes, an event titled Supe Siege was confirmed, along with a series of challenges and rewards. For some odd reason, the Supe Takedown event released with Season 1 Reloaded, featuring a different set of challenges and rewards. It’s likely that this event will wind up launching before the end of Season 1. For a complete guide on that future event, check this out.

Another XP focussed challenge event also leaked for Season 1 Reloaded, which gives players a boost for running the upcoming A-Train operator skin. The reward for completing that challenge event is a Vought themed universal camo.

ALL NEW “THE BOYS” OPERATOR BUNDLES

Last year, Modern Warfare 2 added in the likes of Homelander, Starlight and Black Noir via three separate operator bundles. This year in Modern Warfare 3, only two operators are being added, including A-Train and a new character from Season 4 of the series, Firecracker. Both bundles are likely to cost 2400 COD Points. HOMELANDER, BLACK NOIR AND STARLIGHT (RE RELEASE)

The blogpost for MW3 Season 1 implies that the MW2 bundles that released for the first “The Boys” collaboration are set to return to the MW3 bundle shop. As of January 17th, Starlight has officially been re released inside of Modern Warfare III. Homelander and Black Noir are expected to follow shortly before or with the launch of A-Train and Firecracker before the end of Season 2.
