MODERN WARFARE 3 ACCIDENTALLY CONFIRMED VIA DMCA

The last 24 hours have been crazy for COD 2023, and today we have gotten an accidental title reveal due to DMCA takedowns of images that surfaced for Modern Warfare 3. On top of the images for Modern Warfare 3, we got more info on what’s coming to the game! Here’s everything you need to know:

DMCA NOTICE REVEALS TITLE

On Twitter, there were people who were posting photos of COD 2023 in what appears to be an Alpha state. They showed off guns, the new perk system, and what seems to be a confirmation that all unlocks from MW2 will. carry over to the new game! On top of that, when they got the DMCA notice (a copyright notice that tells the user the content is claimed and must be removed or forcefully removed) it revealed that the game was titled “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III”.

I guess we no longer have to title it COD 2023!

GUNS THAT ARE COMING

There is a big list of guns that are coming to MW3. This isn’t the full list, but here are the guns being reported to be in the game:

If it’s true, not only are we getting a new set of weapons in MW3, but we are also getting the weapons from MW2! Hence the “TAQ-V”. There’s also a logo of MW3 next to each new weapon, also implying that weapons and inventory will carry over, similar to that of Warzone Caldera!

GEAR SLOTS

There was a closer look at what the gear slots would look like in MW3. They seem to fit into the armory slots just like the perks, but instead correlate to different pieces of gear your operator wears. When you interact with a piece of gear in the menu, you get to see all the different types of that gear you selected. For example with gloves:

Specialist Gloves

Then with vests:

Gunner Vest
Overkill Vest
Grenadier Vest
Infantry Vest
Scout Vest
Tactical Vest

Something interesting to know, the Gunner Vest apparently works like Overkill right now which includes a max ammo now. It’s perks are:

x2 Primary Weapon
No Secondary Weapon
No Lethal
No Tactical
Field Equipment

No idea if this is being adjusted or if perks each have disadvantages listed than previous, but it’s interesting to know.

RED COLOR SCHEME

It’s being reported now that Modern Warfare 3’s color scheme will actually be red instead of blue! Previously, it was thought they’d use blue similar to MW2019, but now blue is just secondary with red being the main color! Could this hint that the game heavily focuses around a villain?
