It was widely believed that Modern Warfare 2 would have only 5 Seasons during its life-cycle. Recently, new claims state that there will be a 6th Season before the launch of COD 2023. Here’s everything you need to know:
JGOD ON PULLZE CHECK PODCAST
During a podcast called Pullze Check JGOD, a YouTuber that has participated in early COD events such as COD Next and the Vondel Early Capture Event, hinted that MW2 will have a Season 6 after it was mentioned that MW2 could have only 5 Seasons.
DATA BREACH SHOWED SEASON 6 ALREADY?
Fairly recently, Activision had a security breach, and it was found that an MW2 Season 6 was in the works, or was at least planned. Here’s a nice chart about what was found in the security breach made by DETONATED’s own, Harrison!
Always remember that ANYTHING can change from now until release, but due to the rumors of COD 2023 being November 10th, this could be legitimate. Also, the Haunting of Saba Event seems to be the Halloween event for MW2, but remember that Vanguard didn’t have a Halloween event.
VANGUARD ONLY HAD 5 SEASONS
Speaking of Vanguard, it’s worth noting that Call of Duty: Vanguard (2021) only had 5 Seasons during its life-cycle while MW2019 and Black Ops Cold War both had 6 Seasons.
If MW2 only gets 5 Seasons, they could be cutting down on Seasons for future releases.
