Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer is set to be unveiled on October 5th, just a day before the beta begins for Playstation. As it stands, players can jump into the MWIII Beta if they pre order any of the three editions of the game, but free codes are set to roll out this month. New rewards have also been announced which can be transferred from MW2 to MW3.
NEW MW3 Rewards for Watching The WSOW
The World Series of Warzone is being streamed LIVE from London on Saturday, September 16th. As we’ve previously seen with the CDL, viewership rewards will be given out for those who watch for specific amounts of time. These rewards will be unlocked inside of Modern Warfare 2, which will be immediately available on November 10th for Modern Warfare 3, thanks to the Carry Forward feature.
What Can I Earn
Aside from the new rewards being offered, a few items listed are previous CDL viewership rewards, which some fans may have missed out on. These are all the rewards that can be earned once a viewer has successfully linked their Activision account with either a Youtube or Twitch profile when watching the World Series of Warzone:
- 60 Minute Double XP Token – Unlocks at 30 Minutes
- 60 Minute Double Weapon XP Token – Unlocks at 1 Hour
- Grab The Popcorn Calling Card – Unlocks At 1 Hour and 30 Minutes
- WSOW Wartrack – Unlocks at 1 Hour and 30 Minutes
- Double Digits Emblem – Unlocks at 2 Hours
- Lighting Rod Weapon Blueprint – Unlocks at 3 Hours
- “You Dropped This” Universal Camo – Unlocks at 3 Hours
How to Get FREE Beta Codes For MW3
In addition to the WSOW viewership rewards, Activision confirmed that viewers who watch the event for a minimum of 60 minutes can also quality to earn 1 of 50,000 free beta codes being given out during the duration of the stream. While one may think their chances of winning a code are slim, many more free beta codes are bound to be given away on various COD social media pages, my channel and here on DETONATED.
If one does NOT win a free code during the WSOW, then there’s the option of fully pre ordering one of the MWIII editions, or putting down a few dollars at a local store to secure a beta code before October 6th.
