Let’s take a closer look at potential upcoming content for Call of Duty x Fallout.
Fallout Event Pass & Rewards

We’re going to see an Event Pass for the Fallout collab. With how popular it was back in BO6, it’s hard to imagine that they would’ve dropped the Event Pass model going forward in BO7. This Event Pass will include the usual two tracks, the free & premium tracks, both with their own unique rewards to earn through XP earned. There are 20 total rewards you can unlock through the pass.
The free track will obviously have Fallout themed rewards you can earn just by playing the game. The premium track will cost COD Points & another track of Fallout themed rewards to earn alongside the free track. We can see via the trailer that The Ghoul, Maximus, & other themed skins as Event Pass rewards.

Endgame

With the BO7 Season 1 blogpost from Call of Duty, they confirmed we’ll be seeing two more boss fights in Endgame. One of these will be a VTOL, but the other going to be a Deathclaw Hunt LTM. This LTM indicates a bomb has turned a portion of Avalon in a Fallout themed wasteland. If you head into the danger zone, be prepared to face hordes of Ghouls, & the all too dangerous Deathclaws themselves.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer will be receiving a few new things for the Fallout Collab, including a special map variant for Nuketown – Vault Town, as well as 2 brand new LTMs: The Ghouls & S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem. Let’s take a look at each mode:
S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Mayhem

The Wasteland has descended upon Multiplayer. Toxic air has covered each map as players must survive & battle through the 6v6 Moshpit of TDM, Hardpoint, & Domination. Radiation is something to keep note of, using the little Geiger Counter on your HUD. There are various buffs earned though powerups that you can collect during your games. These can be collected through eliminated enemies. These are each of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. buffs you can earn:
- Jet: Increases your overall speed.
- RadAway: This will reduce your radiation levels. It will also be reduced as you eliminate enemies, as well as being mitigated while on objectives.
- Pumpkin Pie: This will increase your health.
- Luck Bobblehead: This will increase your odds of finding better powerups. If you play the match as one of the Fallout themed operators, you’ll have this buff on by default.
- Psycho: This will improve your headshot damage & hipfire accuracy.
- Nuka-Cola Cranberry: This serves as a score multiplier.
The Ghouls

In a Fallout themed twist on Infected, the Ghouls have arrived to take over. For Vault Dwellers, the goal is simple, find perks, RadAway, & survive till the timer runs out. There are 3 classes of players in this LTM (Vault Dwellers, Ghouls, & Glowing Ghouls). Let’s go over each class & their abilities:
- Vault Dwellers
- Vault Dwellers will have quite the start as they begin with a full loadout, as well as 3 scorestreaks. These streaks are HARP, War Machine, & LDBR. However, players will begin to be poisoned by the constant radiation in the air, which can be countered by picking up RadAway packs after elimination Ghouls. They can also drop powerups like Insta-Kill, Max Ammo, & Full Power.
- If Vault Dwellers are able to chain kills on Ghouls, they can gain extra enhancements. *For players running the fallout themed skins, a buff will be automatically applied* These enhancements are earned as follows:
- 1st Kill: Increased spring to fire speed & movement speed.
- 2nd Kill: Improved hipfire accuracy.
- 3rd Kill: Increased Weapon Swap & ADS Speed.
- 4th Kill: Increased reload speed.
- 5th Kill: Doubles points & headshot damage.
- Standard Ghouls
- Standard Ghouls are similar to the standard infected, & can melee with their hands. They also come equipped with the Recon Combat Specialty, alongside the Ninja & Tracker Perks. Similar to the Vault Dwellers, of Ghouls are able to chain kills, they’ll be able to earn the Deathclaw Scorestreak.
- Glowing Ghouls
- After the game begins, a timer will count down & crown a random Vault Dweller as the first Ghoul. It will be glowing green from radiation, & have some benefits off the start. Glowing Ghouls will have an insta-kill ability, as well as increased health. This ability will last until they’re no longer the only Ghoul in a match. At random, a Ghoul could spawn in as a Glowing Ghoul. Upon death, Glowing Ghouls will explode & increase radiation levels in Vault Dwellers nearby.
Vault Town will be a fun Fallout themed variant of the classic Black Ops staple map, Nuketown. Vault-Tec presents a special variation of Nuketown, jam packed with Fallout Easter Eggs. Odds are we will see a mannequin Easter egg on this variation of the map, as BO7 is the first game without in the base map.

Zombies
A brand new LTM is coming to BO7 Zombies in Season 1 Reloaded, codenamed Project RADS. Deathclaws & Ghouls have invaded the Dark Aether, & with them have brought severe levels of radiation. Regular Essence & healing have been thrown out the window, all in favor of drops that will provide assistance in survival. These drops include the following:
- RadX: This will lower your radiation level.
- RadAway: This will completely remove radiation from all players.
- Food Items: These will be able to increase your health, however overeating can increase your radiation levels.
- Bottle Caps: These replace essence as the currency in this LTM.
Adverse effects of not keeping your radiation under control can include reduced movement speed & weapon damage, as well as field upgrade charge freeze, & a steady health drain. Severe radiation will even remove your perks.
It’s worth nothing that at higher rounds, there’s been talk of irradiated Deathclaws that spawn in. If you’re able to reach & persist past these higher rounds, you can earn XP payouts & other rewards.

Warzone
A new LTM has been revealed to be releasing in Season 1 Reloaded of Warzone, the Power Armor Royale LTM. For every operator dropping into this LTM will start with a Fusion Core, & will need to charge it as the match progresses. This is achieved by eliminating enemies, opening supply boxes, looting other fusion core canisters, damaging enemy Power Armor users, & completing contracts.
If an operator is full on Fusion Cores, they will be able to Power Armor drops at different points of the match. Once the Armor is collected, players gain major health boosts, upgraded weapons, thrusters, & being able to eject & detonate the suit when it’s time to go.

Players will also have to be weary of Radiation Zones. If you don’t have Power Armor, the radiation will gradually wear down on your health. Luckily, you can find some RadAway packs to reduce your radiation & resume the battle.
