Black Ops 6 & Warzone Valentine’s Day Event Update & Content | Season 2

Valentine’s Day approaches & with it, comes holiday themed events, bundles, modes, etc. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone | Season 2 will have a few offerings this time around for the holiday. But what are these offerings? Will we have a Valentine’s Day themed event this year? Let’s find out as today, we’re going over every offering Black Ops 6 & Warzone will have surrounding Valentine’s Day, including bundles, an event, LTMs, & more. Here’s what you need to know:

Valentine’s Day Bundles

Heading into Valentine’s Day this year, we have a couple bundles to look at themed around the holiday. The first bundle is the “Hardshell” bundle for 1,200 COD Points which has already release in Black Ops 6. Not too many Valentine’s themed items in this one, aside from the “Heart Stomper” emote. An early Valentine’s bundle if you will. For a look at the other cosmetics, check out the Stockpile page Here!

The second one is the “Forever Alone” bundle, listed for 1,500 COD Points. The bundle contains a Valentine’s themed blueprint, operator skin, & other Valentine’s Day based cosmetics. For a full look into the bundle’s contents, check it out on the Detonated Stockpile Here!

Shadow Hunt Event

Rather than a dedicated Valentine’s Day themed event, players will be greeted with the Shadow Hunt event. This event will last from February 13th-20th, right through Valentine’s Day. For the Shadow Hunt event, you’re tasked with completing individual & unique challenges throughout either Zombies, Multiplayer, or Warzone to earn rewards & earn the Nocturne’s favor. You can earn rewards by even doing challenges across all three modes.

Players can earn a variety of cosmetics, a weapon attachment (the Binary Trigger Mod for the Tanto), & a weapon (the FAL Marksman Rifle) as the mastery reward. Like previously stated, this essentially overtakes any dedicated Valentine’s Day themed Event. For our coverage of the Shadow Hunt event, challenges, & rewards, check it out Here!

Valentine’s Day LTM’s in Multiplayer

There will be some dedicated LTMs coming to Multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The first mode will be “Third Wheel Gunfight”. This will consist of 6-player gameplay, as opposed to the average 4-player gameplay most gunfights contain. We haven’t really seen 3v3 faceoff in Black Ops 6, so that’ll be returning to Gunfight. Maybe this gunfight variant for Valentine’s Day could help lead to gunfight tournaments returning. The next mode will be “Couple’s Dance Off”. This is simply 2v2 Face Off on a variety of modes.

We also could be looking at the possible return of “Kiss Confirmed. Last seen in Call of Duty: Cold War, “Kiss Confirmed” was basically a reskin of “Kill Confirmed”, only with the dog tags being reskinned as chocolate hearts or just regular heart drops that you’d pick up.

Warzone & Zombies

Is anything coming to Warzone or Zombies? Unfortunately, nothing has been announced for either mode. No new modes were confirmed for Warzone, likely leading the mode to remain in its current state until Season 2 Reloaded. What would be nice is to see is floating hearts instead of blood when you take out Zombies. That was a small feature Treyarch did in Zombies years ago, & it hasn’t been seen since.

Season 2 Reloaded Marketing?

We may see some marketing for Season 2 Reloaded during Valentine’s Day week. If the launch date is February 20th, it’s expected we may see some marketing for Reloaded (maybe a blog post) around February 12th-13th. However, they also may not want to market the mid-season update around the same time an event starts. MW3 had done that a couple times, & it effectively killed any hype or momentum for that upcoming event. So Black Ops 6 may not make that same mistake going forward. That being said, they may market it around February 17th-18th.
