Warzone Mobile Season 3 Reloaded begins on May 8st, at 9am PT, 11am CT, 12pm EST. Call of Duty confirmed that Season 3 Reloaded for Warzone Mobile begins a week after the Golden week event, which begins when the mid season starts on MWIII. NEW REBIRTH/VERDANSK MAP UPDATES
Coming in Season 3 Reloaded, new modifiers for each Warzone map! In Rebirth, a random lightning strike that occurs on the map and when/if it hits a player, it will give a random perk making the player more powerful. And in Verdansk, various Viking Runes are spread across the map which can be destroyed for rewards. At this time, it is unclear whether the random perks stack in Rebirth & what the rewards themselves are in the Verdansk mode.
GENERAL WARZONE MOBILE UPDATES
Additionally, coming with Season 3 Reloaded are very welcome but needed optimizations to the game itself on Android & iPhone, as it currently does not run well unless you’re using top of the range devices.
GOLDEN WEEK EVENT + NEW WEEKLY EVENTS
One of the first major events in Warzone Mobile, is Golden Week! An event featuring new blueprints, animated calling cards & a new limited time Warzone gamemode.
The Golden Week rewards are as follows:
- Lockwood 300 – Shogun’s Harmony
- Combat Knife – Stealth Blossom
- Golden Week – Animated Calling Card
All of these rewards are obtainable through the event currency which can be earned by playing the limited time mode “Golden Plunder” and redeemed through the Golden Week: Seeing Yokai tab.
The new “Golden Plunder” mode is very similar to the normal Plunder gamemode (earn cash by looting supply boxes, doing contracts etc.) However instead of earning cash, you earn gold as part of the mode.
Alongside Golden Week, is the addition of new weekly events where you will as usual be able to earn rewards and cosmetics that may or may not be transferable to the mainline COD HQ applications.
NO MODERN WARFARE III INTEGRATION
It has been over a month since Warzone Mobile launched globally (40+ days), and there is still no sign of QOL changes and MWIII improvements coming to Multiplayer & Warzone, such as the improved movement, new perk system in multiplayer, red dot in mini-map & general quality of life improvements missing from the game.
Currently, Warzone Mobile is using a slightly modified version of MWII 2022’s system/mechanics. This would make the gameplay experience much more enjoyable and is going to be needed sooner or later.
