There were plans for a Swagg and Gotaga ” The French Monster” Creator Bundles in the files of MW2 that were found with the launch of Season 4 Reloaded, but sadly, they will never see the light of day. Modern Warfare 2 made creator bundles before with Timthetatman and Nickmercs in use for both MW2 and Warzone. Here’s everything you need to know:
As it’s well-known, back in Season 3 we were given Creator Bundles with Timthetatman and Nickmercs. However, today they are no longer accessible to the playerbase after Nickmercs made some comments that caused a buzz of which ended with his bundle being removed from the store just days after its release.
Timthetatman posted on Twitter shortly after asking Call of Duty to remove his bundle after they removed Nickmercs’. Neither one of them has played Call of Duty since.
With the launch of Season 4 Reloaded, it was discovered in the files that there were two more Creator Bundles for Swagg and Gotaga in development. This caught everyone by surprise because it was assumed these bundles would never happen again after the controversy of the previous two.
Sadly, the assumptions were confirmed right after Swagg posted a video stating that he did visit the studio to make a bundle for himself, but was told it would be cancelled after the controversy.
For those of you who don’t know who these two are: Swagg is a popular streamer/content creator involved with FaZe Clan with 2.87 million subscribers on YouTube, and Gotaga is a former French esports player and is now owner of the Gentle Mates French esports team.
It’s upsetting that we will probably never get these bundles again. They were really cool to see, and there were a handful of creators we wished to see get added, especially now that we know everything from MW2 will transfer over to MW3, it would’ve been nice to be able to play as our favorite creators.
